"Extremely happy with this purchase!! I was hesitant to purchase a rug online. This is exactly as you see it on your screen. Color is accurate. Arrived very well packaged. Lays completely flat, no curling on the edges. Soft underfoot. My desk chair rolls over it easily, but I will be putting a clear protective sheet under the chair to protect the rug fibers. It is the perfect finishing touch for my office!"

"I received the rug and, although it did have a slight "jute odor" from the natural fibers, it was gone by the next day after sprinkling it with Arm and Hamour carpet deodorizer and vacuuming it twice. The main area with the chenille is nice and soft as you would expect from chenille, but I am trying to be careful when vacuuming it and to stay with the direction of the weave so that more of the jute fibers are not pulled up. It's in an area we don't really walk on much, so I can't imagine there will be any issues in the future; however, I definitely would not put it in a high traffic area. With 20% off, I was happy with the price, but I would have been hesitant to pay more."

"I read all the reviews which stated the color was not as it appeared. Actually that worked out better for me because I was looking for more of a lighter navy vs. colonial blue. Looks great on my hardwood floors."

"I ordered this rug for our breakfast room, and it looks great there for the most part. One corner does not want to lay flat. It curls upwards. Also, there are places on the surface where the rug's twine pokes out, and my dogs keep chewing the twine there surreptitiously. I've been trimming the rope pieces flat with scissors to keep the dogs at bay."

"We bought the 2x3 version in natural and liked it so much, we bought the 3x5 one, too. With a rug pad that grips the hardwood floor, the rug feels soft underfoot and is a subtle natural color. Only downside is, one corner of the 3x5 is curling, but it should relax after some use. Glad we bought both sizes!"

"THE BLUE IN THE PHOTO IS NOTHING LIKE THE ACTUAL RUG. THE RUG IS A MUCH DEEPER, DARKER BLUE-MORE LIKE NAVY. IN THE PHOTO IT APPEARS TO BE A LIGHT FRENCH BLUE. THIS IS THE SECOND RUG I HAVE ORDERED FROM HOME DECORATORS THAT WAS COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTED IN THE PHOTO AND WILL NOW HAVE TO BE RETURNED. VERY ANNOYED AND WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN."

"I am so pleased with this purchase! Often it is difficult to know if the color online is true to the product but the color was exactly as viewed. I have decorated my family/craft room in a seaside theme and the style and color of this rug make a beautiful addition to the room. It gives a casual look yet is soft and comfortable underfoot. The quality is excellent and the price was definitely within my budget! Delivery was to be the end of December but I received it 2 weeks early!"

Question about the blue rug

Do you think an office chair with wheels will be able to roll easily on it? Similar to you, we have gone with a nautical theme in our office. Also, several other people commented that the blue color was darker than pictured on the website but you said the color was exactly as viewed. I'm concerned with the difference of opinions on this matter.

"I looked at this rug in the catalog and on line a number of times before ordering, I needed a red rug. The rug arrived and it was to dark, really a dark dark red, the closest I would call this is Brick Red. I will return it today. I was very disappointed. I have ordered many things and have been happy with all of them before so it was not quality just color."

"I am very happy with this rug. It is very soft and looks good in my kitchen. There were a few large knots in the weave that I had to pull through the rug so they weren't so evident, but once I did that, the appearance is great. I am very pleased with our purchase! (Our dog also loves how soft it is....she spends a lot of time with me in the kitchen now!)"

"I ordered 2 of these rugs for an informal family room, and was somewhat hesitant because other reviewers said the color was not true to the picture. Happily, the color WAS true to the picture and goes well with my sofa and chairs. Delivery was fast. The rugs have really improved the whole look of my family room. The only drawback was that the packaging was a bit of a chore to open."

"Even though I was only able to view a small picture of the rug in the catalog, the colors were true and the fabric was as described. I have told everyone that I couldn't have picked out a more perfect rug if I had seen it in a showroom. The delivery was on time, and customer service was great."
