Great Outdoor Rug

"The rug is what it said it was. It looks great and the fabric is really nice. The true test will be what it looks like next year when it's been outside all summer. There is a little fraying around the edge, but I did not feel it was worth the trouble to ship back."

"After hours + hours of comparison shopping, I finally chose this one after comparing with a billion others. Sale + enough decent reviews finally convinced me.
- Durability: 3 months of trampling in the living room and it's still good as new when vacuumed (phew). Dog claws (which I was most afraid of) haven't snagged or damaged it at all. Pet hair + roommate crumbs + dirt are remarkably easily vacuumed up. No stains yet, but comments I've read about being able to hose it off seem accurate.
- Soft vs scratchy: I was afraid it'd be scratchy, but it's not! Bare feet friendly.
- Cushion: It's very flat without any cushioning, so choosing the thicker (and more expensive) rug pad made it appropriate for indoors.
- Looks: It doesn't look cheap, which I was also afraid of, being an outdoor rug. It goes well with my clean-lined, retro furniture. And it's not shiny.

"Lays flat, doesn't move with the rug strip underneath. Gets lots of traffic and finding it looks fresh weeks later. My Golden Doodle lays on it and when she leaves the carpet is hairless."

"I wanted a durable indoor/outdoor rug that still looked nice to put under my children's play table and this fit the bill. It is easy to clean when they spill but still looks like an indoor rug. I have had it about 10 days and it still has some bumps that need to flatten out. The gray color is crisp and modern, although a bit more industrial. It works for my kitchen since the tile is a gray marble, but if it were in another room I'd choose a warmer color. But overall it's a great rug and fits perfectly where I needed it."

"I was looking for a rug to use over my hardwood floors in our kitchen. I didn't want it to look like an outdoor rug, but I wanted it to be as durable and rugged as an outdoor rug. I picked the right rug. It looks great, fits perfectly, is comfortable to stand on and I get a lot of compliments on it. The best part it was well below my budget for this piece. My only advice is make sure to buy a rug mat for underneath if you plan to use it on hardwood.
In contrast my entry rug, also and indoor/outdoor variety, cost 5X as much as started fraying in the first week. Next time I'll just come to Home Decorators to buy it and not listen to the designer I hired. :("

"I have the indoor version of this rug in gray, and it's been wearing well in my living room for 2 yrs. I purchased the outdoor version in tan/brown to use under my dining room table. With two young kids, I hope that it wears better than the previous wool rug I used. It's great at hiding crumbs, and I can wipe off spills. The trade-in, though, is the way the rug feels-- definitely like an outdoor rug, not plush at all, thin and plasticky. Also looks shinier than in photo, with more apparent weave. Overall, it suits its purpose for us."

"Although I received an e-mail that this rug was on back-order, I received it in about a week from order date! It came well-protected from the elements, and once unrolled, it fit and color was perfect as I had hoped. The one end of the rug that was in the center of the roll needed to have some furniture sit on it to relax it down, but it looks like it's relaxing nicely now! Texture is also lightweight, but nice for a 3 season porch."

"I purchased this same rug, same size a few months ago. I loved the first purchase so much I ordered a second one since the two rooms the rugs are in are open to each other. The rug purchased in March 2012 was of poor quality. The black ink on rug does not completely fill in the pattern making it look like the fretwork has a white border around the black. My first rug did not have this "white border". The March 2012 rug is very disappointing compared to the first."

"I love the pattern on this rug. But I do not love the material. It is definitely an outdoor rug. I bought it for our dining room but I do not feel like it is a dining room rug at all. I kept it just because it was too much hassle to return it. I am planning on buying a rug pad and seeing if that helps at all. But the pattern and color are very nice. It is more of a reddish/orange brown than a khaki or grey brown."

"We ordered the Fretwork rug to go in our dining room which gets a good amount of sunlight. I really prefer a softer rug than this one, but I believe this rug will be fairly durable. We have not had it long enough to know if it will resist fading from all of the light in that room. However, right now it looks great! The color (terra) is exactly what I expected--a muted brick or terra cotta color (which is not always the case with online purchases). Apparently, this is a popular rug, because when we ordered it, it had to be back ordered. The delivery was expected to be delayed until the 27th, but happily it arrived much earlier than that."

"shipping was relatively fast, and the rug is just perfect. subtle colors, but still interesting pattern. it's still a bit bumpy from being rolled up, but i'm assuming it'll flatten over time. i'd definately purchase another rug from home decorators!"

"We are very pleased with this rug. It looks great on our covered patio. The only disappointment was the rosy color instead of terra cotta which is what I expected. But, everyone else thinks it looks great and the color works fine."
