"This and the other matching oil lamps looked so charming I was going to get all three. Problem was, when we see them in the picture, we see them from the side. When they are stuck in the ground, they're at a height where you mainly look at them from the top and you can't see the fanciful "artwork" on the side, unless they're in an area where folks are sitting down...garden furniture, outdoor tables, etc. I wanted them to light a path, so they would be looked at from the top more than from the side.
Also, I found the glass oil lamp part to look too bulbous. I hadn't properly read the dimensions on the listing to know how big and round it was going to be.
I encourage you to get them, especially if they will be around a sitting area.

"Easy assembly and pretty addition to a garden area, however, glass globe that holds lamp oil seems too delicate to leave in the holder when not in use. I'm also wondering how to keep the wick from getting wet if I leave it outside in the rain. Product should have come with a cap to protect wick when not in use."

"I ordered three of these and they are great! Very, Very pretty and very well made. I put them near my back patio to give some light and it is just enough. I recommend these to anyone who loves oil lamps! They are more sturdy than I thought they would be. I am going to purchase some other styles!"
