"I was suprised I was able to put it together myself, took about an hour and a half, it is such a great color and style, we love it. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars on all is the one of the drawers has to be lifted to completely close it, could have been the assembler though :)"

"This is a beautiful chest. It is a nice mid size piece of furniture, not overpowering for a room. Nice height to place items on. I have it next to a big overstuffed armchair and it works great as a side table surface. The color and detail of the wood is sophisticated and tasteful. I especially like the vintage character of this chest. As others have mentioned, there could be more instruction regarding the drawer assembly, but in general my suggestion is to remember to "square" the front to the back before tightening all screws so you don't have a skewed assembly. Hard to explain without a visual. But overall, it went together fairly easily and looks fantastic. Thanks for another great piece of furniture! Well worth the money."

"I ordered two of these chests for a center hall, bordering both sides of the entry into the dining room. The delivery was prompt and item was well packed. My husband assembled them with "no complaints... :^) and the finished products were gorgeous! I was impressed that they were ALL WOOD for the price, the color is a warm red tone that just gives a subtle punch of color and with the satin finish, they are stunning! (Thankfully, no differences in color or finish!) Although advertised as "vintage"...they look great with my chinese cabinet with the hand painted designs. It can just be an eclectic piece that blends with any decor. Everytime I pass these chests I smile because they are just that attractive. No one would ever guess the reasonable price that I paid.
The problem?...My family is tired of hearing me constantly say... "I LOVE THESE CHESTS!!!""

"I purchased this chest for my long entryway & it couldn't have fit more perfectly. The color was what first attracted me to this chest along with the style. As I started to put it together, I was EXTREMELY surprised with the quality. I have purchased numerous pieces of furniture that have had to be assembled, but this one is truely of the best quality. The instructions were easy to follow & assembly was finished in about an hour. Highly recommend & expect to enjoy for years to come!"

"We saw this chest at one of the Home Decorators Collection showrooms, and then ordered it online. It fits perfectly with the decor in our dining room, and gives us a very nice "sideboard" capable of storing tablecloths and silverware and a place to put serving pieces during dinner.
The assembly went well (particularly with the cam and screw system which was very familiar with from other furniture purchases)...except for how to put the drawers into the chest. The drawing for this step of the process was extremely poor and there is no description of the process except to "insert the drawer." The were no instructions about how they fit together. As a result, my wife and I spent a good deal of time after she tried to force the drawer together the wrong way. Our fault, but the instructions were not helpful.
Other than this one misstep, the assembly went well, and we ended up with a beautful piece of furniture that meets our needs very well, all at an attractive price."

"This is an excellent as a Console Table or Accent Table. It is fairly easy to put together all the parts were there and it shipped very fast! It looks true to the picture and is very good quality for the price. I would recommend to anyone!"

"I bought this table thinking it probably wouldn't be the best quailty but would work well for what I was looking for. However, when it arrived I was very impressed with the quailty of the materials (not just a bunch of painted plywood.) Assembley is not difficult but make sure you look through the directions carefully, I missed a few small steps and had to go back. Also, it is very heavy, 72 lbs I beleive, and it comes in a long box. Make sure you will have someone around to help you move it inside!"

"There should have been a warning about the difficulty/complexity of assembly - this was enough of a project that I never would have paid the price I paid! It is very cute, fairly sturdy, although the cam bolts and locks seemed nearly impossible to set!! I had to call a friend who does woodwork to help out (for the price of a couple beers - so that was lucky. The covers for the cam locks were just plain missing. Overall, it was a big headache and I'm glad it's over. If I had known what I was in for, I'd have paid about $50-$75 less and hired a handyperson from the get-go."
