Love the look, but....

The chairs are reasonably comfortable but the back legs began cracking within a year. We are not over 180 pds. And 1 of our chairs was only used by our 9 Pd dog.
Please stay tunned because I am planning to contact Home Decorators or the product manufacturer to see what they are willing to do.
I will report Back!

"This chair should not be sold until the CEO has tried setting on it. I predict he would not let it be sold. Chairs should be comfortable and this chair is so hard that it is like setting on stone. If my husband had not open them and threw away all of the boxes I would have returned them. The chair is beautiful and the fabric is amazing; looks like worn leather."

"This chair looks beautiful in a room but the cushion qulity is poor. It is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. With a better cushion, this chair would be a great buy."

"I wanted a leather look chair without the "real skin."
I really like the fabric. The distressed look works beautifully for me. This is not a chair that fits you like a glove. It is really hard. The back feels more like a 'time out' chair. If this chair could talk, I think it would be saying "get off me." I did read previous comments about the hardness of the foam and ordered anyway. Purchased it w/ matching ottoman. The seat could have been longer (front to back), IMO. Workmanship is very good. Not so sure about durability of the hard foam. I hope it lasts."

"I couldn't be more pleased with this chair! It is identical to the appearance in catalog/website. The faux suede is beautiful and wonderful to the touch. As a single female, I was worried about the assembly and it was a total breeze - all I did was twist on the feet. This chair sits very firm and has a firm back...you don't sink down into this chair or have difficulty getting out of it. A phenomenal value...looks far more expensive than it is. I never write reviews for products but wanted to share with other readers how beautiful this chair is. You won't regret this purchase."

If all I had to do was look at this chair I would love it completely. However, it is probably THE most uncomfortable chair I have ever sat in let alone purchased. If I had been in a showroom and sat in it, I never would have bought it. So, unfortunately, this has now made me afraid to order big items online again.

"As members of PETA we were very pleased to see that Home Decorators was featuring this cruelty free alternative design. It's handsome looks are even more so than the photos lead you to believe! It's sturdy and comfortable which is a welcomed benefit to a bad back sufferer.
The legs were easy to put on. It was packaged securely, delivered in a timely and courteous fashion.
We highly recommend it to those kindred spirits that love animals!"
