"The size and design are great - but it is not as sturdy as I wanted. It cannot be used as extra seating in a room unless it's a child. It will work as a side table or nightstand with a piece of glass on top."

"These stools are not as they appear and the reviews on-line do not match the quality. You can see the metal in multiple places and the banana leaf is coming unwrapped in multiple places."

"The price of this product was very reasonable, however the workmanship was lacking. I ordered two of these and use them as end tables in front of my sofa. The edges around the top was worn through in places exposing the metal frame. I thought of sending them back but for the money I decided to keep them. I had two glass tops made for them which hides some of the damage. They should have a quality control check in place, where damaged products are not sent out."

"I purchased 2 stools to use as foot stools / coffee table in my smaller living area. I really love them! The 2 are slightly different in color, but I attribute that to the natural fibers used in the pieces. I think it adds a bit of character to the room."

"Ordered these banana stools to fit under outside deck table and they matched up perfectly with the sisal rug and fit under the table perfectly and they also pull out easily for additional seating. Although they're not directly exposed to the weather I sprayed them with outdoor furniture protectant to make sure moisture doesn't get to them. They are so versatile and I can move them around as seating OR as side tables OR footstools for both indoor and outdoor areas."

"I bought this for our FLA home as an accent piece stool or table. Right now using it as an extra side table in our sun room/TV room. Seems well made and looks really nice.

"but not practical for actual sitting. I bought item to sit on to put on shoes in the entry but it's not quite sturdy enough for that purpose. However, it does indeed look good and add extra interest in the space. The texture, color and shape are beautiful. Well worth the purchase."

"I wanted something that not only was functional but stylish next to the couch to hold things, including my meals, for the upcoming medical procedure I'm having, which leaves me pretty much in a sitting position. It blends into my living room furniture extremely well, as it has a lot of rattan in the room. The weaving is excellent and light weight, and a plus if needed, you can turn it up side down and use it as a laundry container, or other uses. A great buy.....!!!!!"
