Perfect Settee!

"I purchased this for a small foyer which leads into my open dining/family room area. There is an unsightly AC grate when you walk in, and this settee covers the vent perfectly. It is well made and sturdy. The linen color fabric is like the photo, as is the wood, and does not appear to look like it will show a lot of dirt. It is beautiful and blends in with the many different styles of furniture I have in both rooms. I love that I can change pillows and art work above it as I change accessories in the other rooms as it is neutral. It is functional to stop and take your boots off, or pause and wait for someone. Ideal for my grandkids for coming and going! I think it would be uncomfortable to spend a long amount of time sitting at. My husband assembled it in no time at all. I am thrilled with the price, quick delivery and service I have always gotten at Home Decorators, and I have made many purchases."

"The Settee is very well made and looks great ~ to me it's more a piece used for staging a room or extra seating at a party ~ it's not comfortable enough to use everyday. I am putting it in front of a big window and it looks great but don't plan on sitting on it very much ~ but, love the look. I also purchased the desk and bench from the same collection. I returned the Phillips High Back because it was funny and small looking - I think it would cute for a kids room but not for Adult use."

"I purchased the Left bank Settee for the enytryway/hallway leading into my open kitchen and family room. I am very pleased with my purchase. The settee is beautiful and looks to be more expensive than what I paid for it. I plan to leave it in the hallway the majority of the time, and when I need extras seating I will just move it into the family room. It is easy to move and quite comfortable. It was a little annoying to try and remove the plastic wrap as others have mentioned in their reviews, but the settee did arrive in excellent condition...so i guess the plastic served it's purpose. Overall, an excellent purchase."

"This little sofa bench looks great, as pictured, and I am pleased with the quality of the wood frame and the linen fabric. As others have mentioned, the stuffing on the seat could be thicker (which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5), but for the price it is well made overall and I am happy with it. I also purchased the smaller bench to go with it and they look nice together. Assembly was pretty easy. As other reviewers mentioned, the linen seat part does come wrapped in plastic and the wood frame of the seat part was screwed on after the plastic was wrapped over the seat. Not sure why they send it that way, but to get the plastic off without a big mess just unscrew the wood frame, take the plastic off, and then screw the frame back on."

"i love my settee'itis the heart of the room ,infact i have 2 of them and they are great together make a very french room the assmbly was beyond my ability but its notdifficult and all the parts came with all the pieces i ordered"

"I am not sure whether the settee will hold up to much wear and tear. I think it may be too lightweight to hold much weight. I could be wrong. I purchased two to create banquette seating in my small breakfast area. I like the look. I just hope the settee holds up. I plan to recover the cushions with a colorful material, adding more batting to make it more cushionee. But what is there is fine already. I just like to add my own touch. I am happy with my purchase."

"this bench needed assembly but was not a problem for my husband to do it alone. it is deeper than the description at 23inches from the back rest to the front edge of the seat. luckily it still fits in my mudroom with room for baskets underneath. the color is neutal and the fabric is beautiful!"

"This was my first purchase with Home Decorators and I was pleasantly surprised by this piece. It is a tremendous value for the price and it shipped very quickly. Unlike many other stores this product was shipped right away and I received it in about 1-week.
The linen fabric was also nicer than I expected. Overall this piece is a great purchase for the money."

"ITS FIRM, ITS BEAUTIFUL, ITS A STRAIGHT. It is not tall or short, is dinner chair high. My Mom gave up all the sofas she could have bought for this, she wanted to seat up straight and be an easy excess to get up and seat down without making a show in front of guest. She got it! I am afraid it won't last long, I sit on it and the cushion on your seat sims flimpsy like take care of me or else... but is what she wanted;-). I just wish it was a set of a bigger set, like a sofa this firm and same style."

"This is a pretty settee, definitely worth the price.
We had a very difficult time attaching the arms because the fabric was too bulky for the arms to fit where they should. In the end I took the bench halfway apart and then attached the arms. It seems sturdy, and looks pretty. For the price, it was worth it."
