"I got the table just yesterday and my husband and I spent a good part of the night unwrapping and assembling it. As other reviewers have said, it is kind of tricky to assemble, not difficult, the assembly instructions are clear and easy, but it is difficult to tighten some of the screws because of the lack of space. But this is done for good reason! When the table is put together, you don't see any screws, bolts or hardware. The result is an expensive, well finished, heirloom feel to the table. It is sturdy, heavy and the color is beautiful. I say any difficulties experienced during the two hour assembly is well worth the years of beauty and function this table will provide. We are very pleased with this purchase."

"This table has the look I needed and the price that fit my budget!
The delivery was easy.
Putting it together was a task. The allens wrench had to fit in a tiny space. That took some time to tighten.
Overall, we worked to put it together but were delighted with the result!"

"Table looks amazing and color reflects the image on website. Very Sturdy and speedy delivery. It was a little tricky to assemble as you have to fit your hand in a small space but thankfully there was little to do. Overall I love this table and am very happy that I bought it."

"Purchased this table for my tuscan-style kitchen, which is part of an open floor plan. Very classic design. Took about 2 hours for my husband to assemble with a helper due to some challenges with bolts. Only drawback, the seams on the table top are lovely but collect loads of crumbs and food debris, especially with 2 small kids. I use a soft bristled cleaning brush to clean it out every few days."

"Nice Table for the price. It is slightly higher at 34 inches high, which makes you feel a little low when you eat at it. there are no leaves, so be mindful if this is going in the dining room. a Similar table with leaves would easily cost 3 times the price, and since i do not regularly host crowds, I thought it would be a nice updated look. I'm please with value and workmanship."

One of the reviews incorrectly states that the height of the Lauren Dining Table is 34 inches. According to the description of the table provided by the Home Decorators site, this table is 31 inches high. Just thought I'd point out the reviewer's error, since 34 inches is way too high to comfortably dine at!

"Had been looking at dining room tables for quite awhile. I wanted one that sat up a bit higher and had no decorative ledge just under the tabletop: anyone could cross their legs with ease. My ideal table sat 8 or more guests and was a trellis-style with no corner legs to bang into or navigate seating around. I feel so lucky to have found just what I wanted for a resonable price."

"Lets start by saying WOW the trucked pulled up they placed the table where i asked the guys were very nice and were very helpful table was easy to put together and buying it was easy and fun i think this is the best way to buy a large item the table is made very well and if i had the room i would get another one i do know i will buy from Home decorators again very easy and no stress today i felt like it was christmas getting a great new gift"

I like the look of this table. It says it is 75" long, which should be large enough to accomodate 8 chairs. What do you think? Could you fit 8 around there?
