"I was hoping this rug would be thicker. Even with a pad underneath the rug is so thin that I don't think it looks expensive. Unfortunately, I had to return it."

"I ordered this rug in grey (5x8). I like the fact that it is reversible. The grey tone is a warm grey (not a cool, bluish grey) that blends well with both a warm and cool color palette. The website image makes it appear more brown than it does in person. It is definitely grey, not taupe/beige. Though the rug is thin, the corners do not curl up and it lays flat, even when layered over carpet. It looks great."

"This runner is very nice, and durable. I purchased two for a hallway that receives a lot of traffic. They look as good as the much more expensive flat weave rugs I purchased from another retailer. Definitely worth the cost."

"There is absolutely NOTHING yellow about the rug. I understand colors on computers can be deceiving, but when they call the color "yellow" you would think it would hold true to a point. I can't say anything about the quality as I didn't even open the packaging since the color was so off."

"overall I love the rug and it is perfect for the intended space. I ordered the orange rug...but it is almost more of a dark salmon...not near as orange as it appears i the picture. I paired it with a dark turquoise so it looked great. Buyer beware if you are expecting a true color match to the internet picture."

"This rug is really well made and seems very durable. It's a rough sort of scratchy wool texture, that is thick and rich. The color is pretty accurate of the color depicted online. When the rug arrived, it had a strong wooly animal smell, however it no longer smells after being rolled out flat. It works well with the rug pad I received."

"I just recieved this today in the terracotta/runner and couldn't wait to rip the package open. This rug exceeded my expectations. As another reviewer noted, this is not a plush rug, it's more like a dhurrie. Mine was perfectly straight, the workmanship impeccable. It's adding a huge PUNCH to my entryway!"

"The rug arrived earlier than promised and I am so happy with the pop of design it adds to my kitchen! The corners of the rug wanted to turn up but a simple dampening and placement of heavy books (on each corner) overnight did the trick! This rug is stinkin' cute!"

"I love the houndstooth pattern but the workmanship and materials are sub-par. The rug is not even constructed in a true rectangle; one side runs parallel to the pattern but the other side is finished-off at an angle so it looks kind-of like a trapezoid and really odd on the floor because you cannot line it up with anything. Also, I thought it would be a nice wool but it looks and feels more like a rough jute. Definitely not an upscale look. Fortunately, I wanted this to use in a casual Family Room setting at the bottom of a step-down in front of an open doorway, so really only the pattern is noticeable unless you actually stop to look at it more closely. (at least that's what I'm hoping)"

"You can't tell a lot about this rug by looking at the picture. I was somewhat disappointed after it arrived, but it has grown on me after a few weeks. Made from wool it is a dhurrie style woven mat or floorcloth and should not be classified as a "rug". I should have read the description better.
Negatives:
1. It has a thin flat surface and is not plush nor tufted. The black is screen printed onto an ivory background and the houndstooth check is extremely large sized, but you can't tell by the picture. I hope the black dye does not wear off the surface as it is used.
2. Way over priced at $79 for a 3'x5' sizing

"I was extatic when I saw this area rug on the website. The classic houndstooth print is fantastic, and the large scale of the pattern really amps up the style quotient and modern sensibility. It really makes a statement in my living room, and the neutrality of the colors makes it very versatile.
