"I had read previous reviews about how badly this rug sheds... I agree it does shed, but it's not bad enough to complain too loudly. We have it at the foyer of our home, very high traffic area. It looks fantastic and feels great in bare feet. It does shed some but I just swiffer it up every few days.

"The carpet we ordered is pretty, arrived quickly etc. However no amount of vacuuming stops the shedding of little fluffy fibers. When we sit on it we get completely covered. When we walk over it, we track the fluff all over the house. It's very frustrating, but at least it wasn't expensive."

"I was attracted to the web image, a bold design w/ a color combo that matched my scheme. However, the shedding problem renders this purchase as a big waste of time. DO NOT BUY THIS RUG. Vacuuming doesn't help because the suction just pulls more threads."

"We've had this rug for a little over two months now and it has yet to even remotely stop shedding. We might as well have a 200 lb dog in our living room, except we don't get any of the benefits. Constantly cleaning up fuzz balls multiple times a day. We've filled up the vacuum canister, and it's a big canister, a solid 4-5 times after vacuuming just the rug. It's starting to show a lot of loose threads now also. We have no kids, no pets, and are not even in the room where the rug is but for a couple of hours a day tops. It's a pretty rug, but it's so obviously not a quality product. Now I'm just worried there won't be any wool left on our rug by the end of the year.
Lesson learned. You get what you pay for."

"I purchased this rug for my kitchen 5x8 in black. It arrived within a week of ordering and the rug laid very nicely immediately after being unrolled. It looks exactly as it does on the website and the quality is great. It has a very thick pile and I've had it for a few weeks so far and I haven't noticed any excessive shedding. I had already purchased a pad so I put it down but I don't think I would have needed it. I'm very happy with this purchase!"

"Not sure if all of the rugs were made this way, but it seemed as though the fiber that was used to construct this particular rug was contaminated with garbage like plastic, white strings, and other fibers that weren't in the color of the rug. It's too bad because usually I am very pleased with the merchandise from Home Decorators. They were very kind and supportive in assisting me with the return."

"Looks great and feels quite good for the money I paid. Better quality than your average furniture store rug.
Cons -
Sheds quite a bit and there was a very slight tear in the middle on arrival, but it doesn''t show and not worth returning.

"We're really happy with this rug. It looks great and hasn't pilled much at all. It vaccums nicely. It is lighter in color than I expected, which looks nice, but may not last too long with a young child and dog (we'll see!)."
