"Placed rug in room which has always been used as a sunroom and we've recently turned it into a dining because of kitchen remodel......former kitchen was an eat-in kitchen. I was nervous about purchasing a rug this big, 9x12, but we are so happy that we did. The dining table with 5' bench and 4 chairs fits perfectly. The colors are beautiful and the quality is "up there"! This is our third (3) rug purchase from HD are would highly recommend them."

"I just received this rug today, and when I opened it and rolled it out, I thought- wow, it's exactly what I saw online! It is really thick and plush- colors are lovely, and I can hardly wait to put it into use! Really nice rug, for the money- I am really happy with it!"

"Just received the rug (in blue) and it looks gorgeous in our living room. Feels surprisingly plush and looks as classy as in the picture.
Hesitant to rate it 5 stars for now, since it's too soon to know how it will wear. But very happy with our decision to buy this rug!"

"The Grandeur is a beautiful, plush rug at a good price and it arrived quickly and safely packaged in a thick plastic wrap. The colors in the beige carpet we chose are exactly what was expected from the online photo. Our round dining room table, when closed, and the matching chairs fit perfectly on the 8’ round version (chair legs don’t hang up on the edge of the carpet when moved to be seated). That’s nice! We felt that no pad was necessary because of the rug’s thickness and it makes a warm and sophisticated addition to the room! So, nice quality (touch it and it feels good too), appears well made and durable, right colors and right price made it an excellent choice for us. Our cat loves it too!"

"The product sent was dissimilar to the picture in the catalogue and online. The pattern is not proportionally displayed in smaller rugs and is as if a hunk of a larger rug is cut to meet the dimensions of a smaller rug. The pattern is lost and the remaining colors are problematic.

"After a major house fire, we are having to replace all of our area rugs and it has proved to be a very difficult task. I have never bought rugs online but just don't have time to go store to store. I saw this one on the Home Decorators website and agonized over whether to take a chance and I am so glad I did! The rug is thick with vibrant colors and minimal shedding. It coordinates exactly with the new colors we have chosen. We got the 4x6 for our kitchen in the blue and it is beautiful!"

"This is a really beautiful rig and I had not been able to find anything quite as lovely in any stores that I visited. The hunt for the perfect rug was long. The black border all the way around the rug is more pronounced than on the online photo, but it actually pulls out all of the other colors and makes the rug even more vibrant. I purchased the red, and it has red, cream, tan, rust and sage green along with the black accents. The only issue...this rugs sheds like crazy. I hope that the shedding will improve soon. I've only had it a short time but have noticed that I need to vacuum like every 3-4 days (at a minimum)."

I just ordered thd 9x12 in multi-red and what pushed me over the edge to go ahead and order was reading all the reviews. That was the best advice I could get...I am not fond of ordering on-line but so frustrated that I couldn't find the colors/patterns I liked in exhausting visits to rug showrooms..I took the plunge on the internet. So thanks to all--

"This is a nice, thick rug. I love the muted blue. The one thing I would note, since it is thick, is that you don't need a thick rug pad under it. Unfortunately I didn't realize that beforehand, so the rug pad we have for it causes the rug to stand off the ground just a tad."

"The picture of this rug on-line is beautiful and exactly what I wanted for under my kitchen sink. I ordered a 2x3, and was sorely disappointed that you only get a chunk of the rug's pattern, not the whole pattern as shown on-line. Also, the rug is crooked!!! If you are ordering the runner or a 2x3, I promise you that you WILL be disappointed. Didn't want to bother returning it so I put it on my back porch for the kids to wipe their feet on after coming in from the lake."

"Very pretty!! Good quality and good price. The only thing I don't like is the wool fibers sheading on my hardwood floor. I know this will end in time. The black in the rug is a little more defined than online. I'm going to order 2 runners to match. The rug is very thick."
