"I've had my eye on this one for a long time. Although I've had a crush on every single color I selected the dark gray to compliment newly painted bedroom (blue/gray). At first placement I thought the colors were slightly quiet compared to viewing online, but not after the room was put back together. it is so completely perfect, I am delighted with the purchase. Lovely dense cushion too!"

"We bought this rug for our family room in the dark grey color. I actually think it looks more light brown or tan than grey, but for us that was perfect! The pictures looked more brown then gray so I was actually hoping for more of a brown hue and I was not disappointed. It looks fantastic in our room. We have carbonized bamboo floors with light green walls and this carpet compliments all of it. The rug is very thick and heavy and looks very well made. I was nervous purchasing a rug without seeing it in person first, but this has been a great experience and we are very happy. The rug arrived quickly too."

"We hunted high & low to find a runner for our entry that would blend with everything! This rug does that! The pattern and colors compliment our decor without being too matchy-matchy. The only problem is that we have to plane the bottom of our powder room door too accommodate the thick plush!"

"rug was exactly what I wanted - however it has a "lumpiness" about it. Only had 1 week - but it still is not flat overall. Will wait and see - not interested in doing the return thing - but at the moment - hoping for smoothy out."

"I ordered this rug in pumpkin for our rustic Tuscan living room. When it arrived a few days after ordering, I was blown away by how beautiful, plush and well made it was. The color isn't as orange as it shows on the website which I was happy about. I would say it is more of a coppery gold. I have used HD before and been very satisfied. This purchase was no exception. Good product, good customer service. I highly recommended both this rug and HD."

"I ordered the 8' round rug which arrived quickly and in great condition. Colors were exactly as pictured. The rug is thick and plush and is perfect for the location for which it was purchased. The only thing that would have helped me with my selection was to have shown a picture depicting the rug in the round shape. Very happy with my purchase."

"Ordered this rug for our dining room with a set of oak craftsman/mission style table and chairs. It looks great and has a nice thick pile. We got it in red and the color is very rich, it adds a real warmth to the room. I am very happy with the rug, but was surprised at the scale of the pattern. I though the photos on the website were of a smaller size rug, so thought the border would be about a foot wide or less and it is much larger. See attached photos with chairs and table (and cat) for scale. I wish they could have photos of the rugs in room settings instead of just the flat photos."

"I purchased this rug in the red- however, it is dark red, almost burgundy. The rug has nice rich colors, and the fabric has a good thickness to it. It looks expensive, and I am happy with it. The only problem is the shedding- it sheds sooo much and is making a mess on my wood floor. I understand it is supposed to shed for some time, i have had it for two weeks so far. I certainly hope the shedding will stop soon. Otherwise, it is very nice."

"We purchased two of the 14' runners in "Java". I was nervous about the color from reading all the reviews AND speaking to customer service---were we going to see black, brown, espresso or something in between--it was so unclear. But I'm glad we took the chance and made the purchase. This is as close to black as you can get, but a bit 'softer' in tone than bold black. In fact, the manufacturer's tag on the back of these rugs describe the color as "Deep Charcoal"--and it is! I am not sure why HD calls it Java--which is simply confusing. These rugs are very thick, very plush, and the colors are neither faded nor bold--just perfect. Our Great Dane immediately staked out one as his own just about as soon as we placed it down! Highly recommend these rugs - you won't be sorry!"

"I purchased a 2x3 in the JAVA to make sure I liked it before buying a large area rug. I literally got it within 2 days, and loved it! I immediately ordered another one (also JAVA) in the 6x9 (hard to find) size. I had looked at soooooooo many rugs, they all started looking the same. This one was so unique I knew it was what I was looking for. The JAVA is a very dark brown, almost looks black in my soft lighting."

"Ordered this rug with hesitation because of others commenting on the java color. The color is dark enough for me, I do have blacks and browns in the area of this rug. Happy with the design and overall muted colors. Hopefully the shedding will decrease with time. This was the first time I've ordered a rug in this price range on line, happy overall."

"I ordered the Patrician rug in pumpkin color., but it was a dull rusty brown. The leaves depicted on it were just flat gray shapes. It looks cheaper than I expected it to
