"The table is solid wood, however like most other reviews said the finish is poor with stain drip marks. I feel like it needs another coat of polyurethane. Still unsure if I will keep it because the finish looks dull but otherwise is completely solid."

"Two of the legs didn't initially fit, but customer service was good about sending replacements. This is a nice-sized sturdy table. My issue with it is that the finish is very poor quality. Some parts are stained differently than others. There are stain drips on the sides which look terrible."

"The table was a gift and both the receiver and I were pleased. The table is beautiful and solid. The legs were easy to attach and overall it is an attractive and quality piece. I should add the picture you showed was not the table I bought. It was a low coffee table. The dimensions were correct, the picture not."

"I bought this to replace a table of a very similar style made of the same wood that I bought 10 years ago from C&B, only because I needed something smaller. This table is of similar quality and much shinier. Other reviewers say the legs can loosen, but I did use a socket set wrench and got a tighter fit. There is only one bolt per leg. I chose this table over ones I saw in another major store beginning with a J because the wood is solid. Many tables at this price are just stained over fiber board, so scratches and nicks show badly. My new table has a smooth finish and just one or two rough spots at one edge smaller than a dime where maybe a knot in the wood was. Not a problem for me because I'm proud of this table being made of real, solid wood."

"This was so worth the money!!! It arrived quickly with no damage. Easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. The finish was a tad darker than I expected, but still a beautiful piece at a remarkable price."

"This piece is a lot more rustic looking that it looks in the catalog. The sides of the table are not finnished properly and on the top of the table it looks like lint got on the table in the finnishing process and they urethaned right over it. I didn't discover it until I already assembled it and thrown out the box."

"This is a very solid table that I am expecting to take a lot of abuse. It is a good value and I see it living through two children pretty well. The cons are that the stain is kind of uneven and the table was not sanded completely, there are some rough patches on the sides. Overall I would buy this table again it suits my purpose and it is cute in our living room. I plan to buy the end table too."

"Beautiful solid wood table. I put together in less than half an hour. The legs are marked and the holes are labeled. A third grader could do it. I do recommend a ratchet to ensure that the legs are nice and tight."

"I don't typically write reviews, though I always read them. I almost missed out on this table - I was very hesitant to purchase it based on the negative reviews. I felt the need to write a review on this to counteract those.
This table is beautiful - The wood grains has a nice warm tone to it, and the whole piece feels very sturdy and well made. It works beautifully in our family room and I'm so glad I decided to order it despite the reviews.
Assembly was extremely simple - Just screw on the legs.
We've placed drinks on the table and they don't form rings easily. I think the table will wear very well.
Overall, great value, would recommend to anyone."

"I purchased this table thinking it would (1) be easy to assemble and (2) look great. Both are true but it is just SO poorly made. The bolts get loose all the time and the table immediately becomes wobbly. Ive had it for 2 weeks and have had to retighten the bolts about 10 times. Oh yeah, they give you a wrench but it doesnt work either. Thanks Home Decorators for nothing."
