"I carefully checked the dimensions on this little cabinet and it works perfectly as an end table for a love seat. I love the windowed door on it as it is the perfect little storage cabinet that keeps out the dust and dirt from unpaved roads. This is an exquisite little piece that arrives already assembled and it came in just 6 days. This was one of the best bargains I have found."

"I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new cabinets (using as nightstands in the master bedroom)! They are VERY well made and the wood is heavy for the price; security latch on the door is a plus for small children (my daughter is 2); the two inside shelves perfectly spaced apart and it arrived fully assembled -- totally perfect!! And the wood matches really well w/ my current bedroom furniture to boot -- exactly as pictured!!"

"Did not receive until 4/25. The glass in the door was
broken...from large shards to slivers and glass dust.
Rather hard to clean all of the glass out of the shelves..
There was a very strong odor of fresh paint. The finish where the hook to close the front was mared.
Look like it was hooked before the paint was fully dryl"

"I ordered this item because of other reviews. It is a lovely piece however the latch was broken when delivered. I fear it would be more hassle than it is worth to send back so I will try to glue the latch together and make it work. Otherwise the rest of it is well made. Hopefully, you won't get a broken latch. The latch is important because it keeps the door closed."

"This cabinet is a nice piece to add a little global feel to a room. I needed a small cabinet for my guest bathroom that could hold various toiletries within reach. I looked everywhere trying to find a quality piece at a reasonable price and the only things I saw were cheap, poorly made, flimsy cabinets that cost as much as what I paid for this one. This cabinet came solidly packed and completely assembled--not a scratch on it. It is extremely heavy for the small size it is---made of solid wood and glass. Nothing flimsy about this piece. It does have a rustic look which adds to its charm. The stain is very dark. I am very pleased with this piece."

"I bought two of these. The first one was so beautiful and well made that I gave it to my brother. I wanted another for myself and ordered a second one. Well the second one was equally well made but the grain of the wood and color was duller and darker..so we traded. Overall I think these are a good value. They are completely assembled, have a glass front, and a nice metal pull knob and wooden catch..three shelves to put things in, and they smell nice. A nice wooden smell. The packaging is very nice, I didn't have any trouble with the condition of the items. They are both very beautiful and blend with many styles..I'm sort of "cottage", and he is "old world"..works either way. Oh yes, and even the back of the cupboard is hard wood..built to last."

"This little cabinet is very versatile. We are using it as a nightstand, but I could easily see it fitting in just about anywhere. Nice dark finish and the back looks nice too. The windowpane front could be left as is, or you can customize by putting a piece of fabric or wallpaper inside the front door. Really happy with my purchase. Comes right out of the box and into your room. No fuss, no muss."

"we needed a small cabinet to fit in a specific space. having looked in various catalogues, none seemed available. we found this one in the Home Decorator catalogue and the size was the only criterion. we were not sure of the look, finish and workmanship and had planned to return it if not satisfactory. we were delighted with the size and look, finish and workmanship. This is our third cabinet purchased from Home Decorators."

"I like this cabinet but thought would be bigger than it is. I confess I didn't check the measurements with a tape and based on description and pictures only. So, I would recommend to be sure about the size and compare to what you expect. But, it is a pretty cabinet with pretty color, with matched my dinner room. Because of the size did not bring to much functionally to the dinner room though. The appearance is good-very good but lack in small details."

"The East India Cabinet was a pleasant surprise. This unit is constructed with solid hardwoods. It is very sturdy and even better than the description suggests. There is a distressed finish that gives it an added level of authenticity to any decor. I am very pleased with the piece and I am using it to house A/V equipment. High recommend. My only critism is that the dimensions given obviously denote the outside dimensions. I wrongly assumed that translated to the room inside the cabinet. For a few of my components there is a space issue."

we are looking to use this piece for AV equip too, wondering what you did with the cords/wires? The back sounds like it is solid wood....I was originally thinking we could cut a hole in the back but doesn't sound like that would work?
