"I am very pleased and happy with my Martha Stewart rug that I purchased in cream to go in my living room in front of our sofa. The textured cut pile against a flat weave chenille background adds dimension and interest to the room. It also blends perfectly against my peach colored walls. Also, I like the fact that I can add dramatic accents, pillows, ornamental bowl, etc. to spice everthing up, since my sofa is also a neutral shade."

color unexpected
Date:March 9, 2011
"I purchased this rug and was happy with everything but the color...i ordered the cream and when standing above it, it was gorgeous with two-tones of cream...however if you look at it from an angle (like from another room) it had a very yellow glow/tint to it...it was so yellow looking from the next room, i had to return it. if it weren't for that, i would ave kept it - its a very nice and unique rug..."

Beware color disappointment!
Date:February 18, 2011
"I'd searched a long time for a low pile rug to approximate/match off-white and ivory curtains and upholstery in my living room. This rug, described as "cream," appeared in both catalog and online photos to be the right choice. I was dismayed to receive what I would call a warm beige colored rug, several shades too dark for my decor.
The rug itself is a beautiful weave, pattern, subtle luster, and nice quality -- other than the color, exactly what I wanted.
I won't take the trouble and expense to return this large area rug, and will try to make it work in another room. However, I'm canceling my plan to purchase another large rug (described as "ivory") or any other item where color is important from Home Decorators. I have learned my lesson!

Cream Color -- Love It
Date:July 24, 2010
"I just laid this rug out in my living room, and I love it already. I've been looking for a white rug for a while, and for some reason I found it very difficult to find any that were not ugly shag. This is not a bright white, but it's a light enough cream that it's close enough for me.
I love the texture of it, too. The pattern creates visual interest while still giving the impression of a solid color, so that it doesn't clash with other textiles in my room. It kind of almost reminds me of an old-fashioned doily.
The material is thinner than the usual rugs I've seen, but I like that it feels light-weight and lays very flat against my hardwood floors. And the raised parts of the texture are so soft that it still feels fairly luxurious even if it's not deeply plush.
It was a bit more than I really wanted to spend, but rugs are frequently very expensive, so it's not a bad deal. I'm very happy with my splurge."

Compliments Galore
Date:July 8, 2010
"LOVE this rug; its just beautiful, very elegant and I mixed it with very casual. Everyone who has been to my house has complimented on the rug. Its a very thin rug; lays flat, I would imagine with a pad it would also work well on top of carpet, however I had it on hardwood (with a pad). I purchased CREAM and its the most wonderful color and the shading you see highlights the gorgeous pattern."
