"I bought two of those for my sunroom. They are perfect for the purpose. I would not want to use them in a living room as a sitting furniture, though. The upholstery fabric is very similar to what used for outdoor furniture.
It just does look as it advertised - LOUNGE furniture.

I want to praze the Customer Service for resolving the issues effectively. One of the wooden parts was damaged and I received a replacement without questions asked, in about 10 days."

"I needed a small piece of furniture to compliment a small sitting room that could also accommodate an extra overnight guest. The futon is perfect. I had two little problems. The sticker that says not to sit on the arm was very difficult to remove and marred the finish. Also one of the large screws broke but I was lucky to have a son-in-law that could fix it. Over all I am quite pleased and would order it again. I had an overnight guest that said it was quite comfortable."

"I read all the reviews before I purchased this, so I knew going in that the cushions were not padded enough...No biggie, once I "fluffed" them they look fine, however, I am planning to purchase a foam pad to go under the seating area. It will be perfect for an extra sleeping space, the color was beautiful. Deep red, not really wine which I think of more burgundy when it is described as wine. The frame is sturdy, and it looks great. I have in my craft room, so perfect size. I did a lot of research to find the perfect piece for this space, this fit the bill completely."

"One or more of the wood pieces were split completely through. This had occurred prior to shipping from the far east, because the wood stain was applied over the split.
Also, the seat is much too low for an adult to sit on. If an adult sits on it he/she will need help to get up.
I returned it before completely putting it together (as soon as I saw the split wood)."

"Appreciate wood frame; have seen other versions with metal frames but held out for this one. I will add padding underneath the seat cushion as this is my primary couch now. I like the multiple ways this lounge can be used!"

"This is exactly what I wanted - a cozy place to sit (it's a small room) in comfort, that converts to a single bed.
Wasn't crazy about the fabric on the cusions, so used a king size sheet to create slipcovers that tie in the back - very nice!
Assembly instructions could have been a little clearer - we got the first set of pieces on reversed... had to re-do. Quick to notice when trying to add the third piece, though.
All in all, very glad I purchased this!"

"I'm very pleased with my convertible lounge. It's perfect for my casual living room . . . love the color, size and weight of it. An added plus is that instead of laying on it, my cat loves to lay underneath. The bits of cat hair left on the cushions so far, has been very easy to remove."

"I'm very happy with the lounge. I purchased in black with neutral cushions. I had read other reviews before I purchased this, so was prepared for the rather thin cushions. I'm using this in a small home office, and the style and size are just great for my pupose. It will also be used as an extra sleeping space when my Grandchildren come to visit. Ordering was easy, It shipped quickly, and was in perfect condition. I'm quite pleased!"

"It looks great and is wonderfully adjustable. The chaise lounge is the best! The Allen wrench for assembly was worthless, we had to buy a new one. It needs to have the padding doubled."

"This was on a great sale which made it a good value. If I had paid full price it would have been sent back. I love the look and functionality of the piece, but the hardware and tool provided were not good. The allen hex wrench rounded off before I got to the large bolts used for swiveling the arm pieces. I found another in my toolbox of the same size and it rounded out the groove in two the large bolts before I had them all the way in. Now the arms won't stay in position because the bolts aren't in far enough! Not sure what to do about that. The futon mattress is pretty thin and anyone over 140 lbs will feel the slats. I plan on using it for myself when company stays, and for young grandchildren which is okay, we are all lite enough. This is an unusual situation. I have ordered many furniture items from HD and have been very pleased with all of them."

"This lounge is very practical and good looking. I'm very glad I switched from a pull out sofa bed. It's modern and comfortable. The color is a nice shade of off white shade, not like the picture.
There aren't many parts to assemble and it's fairly easy. I'm very glad I purchased two of these."

"I like the design and versatility of this product. I used it as a guest bed recently and my guest stated that he slept very comfortable each night. Make sure you have a decent Allen Wrench, as the brass tool stripped."

"This was the perfect size/style for my living room-looks good in the corner as well as in the middle of the room against the sofa table. Easily convertible to a sleeper. The futon cushion is comfortable. I added three additional contrasting pillows. A great purchase for a reasonable price."

"I would not recommend this product for an averaged sized house - say 1500 square feet. The lounge is very small, so close to the floor that standing up is a little bit of a challenge and awkward, and the wood is darker than pictured - not what I would call "chestnut." This is not a bargain. It is expensive for what you get. However, if you live in a tiny urban apartment, this lounge makes sense as a space saver and can also double as a comfortable one-person bed. On the plus side, the red fabric and pillows are rich in color and appear solidly made."

"I love the fact that my order came in a few weeks earlier than expected and that it had minimal pieces to assemble. One glitch in assembly was the allen wrench that came with it broke. Luckily I have vast experience with some-assembly-required and found one that fit perfectly however, I did have to ask a male relative with more hand strength than I to tighten the bolts. The only other thing I would have to say it that the material is kind of course, could be much softer. Overall, I love the piece and the versatility of it."
