"I have no idea what the other reviewer's are talking about. This table is cheap and looks cheap. It also came with a big gash on the top. The chairs are just as bad. They are so uncomfortable and cheap. Don't buy this table; it is horrible."

"Love the Larsson table in black - it was exactly what we wanted - substantial kitchen table for 5 that doubles as formal dining setting. And for half the price of others. Using a table cloth to keep the kids from damaging the pretty finish."

"I searched everywhere for a dining table that suited my style and price range, and that fit our smaller dining room and my husband's criteria as well, and this is it. It's beautiful and looks very high quality, and I love that it has the leaf option. Doesn't seem to scratch too easily yet as previously mentioned, but we have yet to really put it through its paces. So far, so good!"

"This table arrived in a HUGE box and I was a little nervous about assembling it, but I got the leaf out first (to make it a more manageable size), then attached the legs. Eight bolts and the table was ready. I assembled it by myself and it's quite sturdy. It's also gorgeous. I'm often torn between covering it with a table cloth to protect it, and keeping it bare so people can see how pretty it is. Great purchase... absolutely no regrets about this table."

"I found the table too small for a dining room. It is 'marked' and 'scratched' very easily. I am disappionted in the design. I wish it would expand. It was a real oversight not to create an expandable table.

"The table is attractive, reasonably priced and fairly easy to assemble. However the tabletop scratches extremely easily. A child moving their plate and utensils across the table leaves marks that cannot be buffed away. The cat's claws leave scratches, and I can put a permanent scratch in the surface with my fingernail. Not nearly durable enough for a dining table. Don't purchase this if you actually intend to use it. VERY disappointed."

"I hesitated to trust this company but went ahead and ordered as I needed this size and color. The table arrived early and in great shape. It's very pretty, very sturdy and doesn't scratch easily as those I've seen in stores."

"I had a hard time finding a black dining table that had a leaf in it, and when I found this one I knew I had to buy it. For the money, it's really a great quality product. It was a little smaller than my husband and I imagined it would be but you can still fit six chairs around it. With our baulky chairs it is kind of a tight squeeze though."
