"Just needed shelves for bathroom to store toiletries. Wood/particle boards were chipped when arrived and look a little cheap, but they are cheap and it serves purpose"

"I had formerly ordered this item and it came via UPS. But, on the day expecting to be delivered, noticed that UPS had 'Delivered' status on their website, but no item on doorstep. After calling UPS found out that UPS driver had lied about delivery because he had dropped and damaged the item and was afraid to report it. The manager at UPS did call me and apologize and sent the item back to HD. I chatted online with HD to tell them what had happened and H.D. noted it in my account. I did not have to do anything else and within about a week, I received a new MSL Cube Organizer. Came in a flat box, all pieces and hardware were there. Put it together myself. Easy to read step-by-step guide. Took less than an hour. Espresso color, very sturdy, looks good in my room. MSL drawers I purchased fit perfectly and hold a lot of things."

"We just submitted a positive review for another item. However, we can't say the same for the cube organizers. All of them arrived with some kind of flaw that occurred before or during shipping: dents, chips in corners, finish removed. If the company continues to offer this product, it needs to package them more durably. This is an okay product for a kid's room or temporary office, but if it arrives in unusable shape, it's not worth your time to assemble."

"I love the idea of these cubes for organization of my kids books and toys. However, when they arrived, they were all chipped in multiple places and one of my units came without any hardware to put it together with. I then had to wait 3 weeks for the hardware to show up to finish my project.
Other than that the units are easy to put together and serve their purpose. I am just disappointed with the fact that i had to stain the damaged areas and wait to get the hardware for so long."

"I found the directions very confusing, and while putting some screws in, the fiberboard disintegrated. The pegs were flimsy and one of them broke very easily.
I would not purchase another one of these, nor would I recommend it to a friend."

"We purchased these shelves for our playroom. They are decent for our purposes - having kids put toys in. However, I note that the shelves arrived somewhat beat up. There are chips and nicks. Also, in one instance, when putting in a screw in the back it caused a layer of the shelf to lift up. Quality is just ok."

"I'm using this at the backdoor to stash hats, gloves and shoes keeping everything neat and clean looking. It makes the space so much more organized. I bought the fabric drawers also and it looks great. I can stash my shoes in the cubes without the drawers and stash everything else in the drawers. Assembly took me about 25 min. It was pretty easy to follow the instructions. I recommend a power screw driver because there are alot of screws. It would be a much longer task if doing this manually."

"I was surprised how sturdy and heavy they were. I used wood glue while I was assembling them because that's just me. I bought 2 they were on sale and I got free shipping. Combined them with a storage bench to complete my mud room redo. The directions were very exact and uncomplicated. I now have a very organized, bright, cheery mud room with tons of out of site storage. Was impressed with how stream lined it all is. the units are only 12 inches deep and the bench is 14. Hugs the wall and is so functional."

"I purchased this for laundry room storage and it came in perfect condition. Assembly took no more than 30 minutes and this shelf is actually quite sturdy. I love the colors of the storage cubes. I agree about the cardboard backing so to spruce it up I purchased 3 sheets of heavy cardstock and glued it on the cardboard backing. Oula! No more crease and you can make the backs whatever color you want. Took an extra twenty minutes to fix the backing or you can leave it off since when the cubes are in you don't see the back anyway. I think this is a great purchase for the price."

"I bought two of the six-cubby organizers in white for my office, which is done is a beach theme. My husband put them together quickly, with no problems. We didn't see any of the scratches or nicks that some people have noticed.
After getting the first two, we realized that you could stack them, so we bought two more along with the coordinating storage bench which we put between the two stacks of organizers. One of my favorite scenes of the beach where I grew up fits perfectly in-between and makes it a great little nook.
We are very happy with our purchase, although I would mention two things to potential buyers: First, there are screw heads that show on top of the organizers, so if the tops are at a level that you can see (ours are too high now), that might be a problem. Also, there are only 3 flimsy backs for 6 cubes, so your wall color will show through on 3 of the cubbies. We are waiting to see where we put our drawers before we attach the backs.
We ordered 19 fabric drawers to corral our stuff. Be careful because the drawers do NOT hold an 8 1/2 by 11" piece of paper. I was hoping they would.
Love the color selection of the drawers, and the versatility of the arrangement."

"THIS ITEM WAS A BIT OF A SURPRISE. EVERYTHING WE HAVE PURCHASED FROM HOME DECORATORS HAS BEEN OF AMAZING QUALITY. THIS WAS NOT. THE DIRECTIONS WEREN'T AS GOOD; THERE WERE ONLY 3 BACKS FOR 6 CUBICLES; AND THE OVERALL QUALITY WAS LACKING...BUT IT WAS VERY INEXPENSIVE. THAT BEING SAID, THOUGH IT DID NOT MEASURE UP TO THE TYPICAL STANDARD OF WHAT WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM HOME DECORATORS ITEMS, IT WAS "YA GET WHAT YA PAY FOR!""

"So pleased with this 6-cube unit that I ordered a second one and have them side-by-side. They are sturdier & more attractive than I expected. As for the assembly, I'm not experienced at it & I can't say it was EASY, but instructions were good, I followed them step by step & they went together well & look sturdy & secure!"
