Simply Great Rug

"I was looking for a rug to add some comfort and depth to my man cave. Something that would get my wife to visit the room more often! I felt like I was taking a leap of faith ordering a set of rugs online. I was worried about how the color (red) would look in real life, against my furniture. As it turns out, the red color of this rug is fantastic. Very neutral, and blends with everything in my room. I also love that this rug is all wool. It is very comfortable against the feet, and has a pleasant smell."

"Beautiful rug. Nice texture. Not super soft under the feet but fine for an area that may have heavy traffic. However, if you have a pet with claws look away now. Our rug didn't last longer than a week unfortunately. I eventually stopped trying to tuck the loops back in the rug. Bummer."

Not good for kitty families

The rug is a nice basic beige, which was what I wanted to place patterned throws on top. It feels very soft underfoot. However, as a prior reviewer indicated, it is a ribbed texture with alternating rows of sheered pile and LOOPS. The cats love it--in the first days before I notieced, they used it as a scratching post due to the loop texture. The loops pull free from the mesh backing and leave long straggly pieces of yarn with small holes beneath. Basically, the rug looked like a mess within a week, and I have to lock that room to keep the cats out.

"This rug is beautiful and feels wonderful underfoot. We've had it just a couple of weeks and it is shedding a lot ~ we're hoping that will subside. One word of warning however, is that there are rows of loops on the top side of the rug. Our dog's claws catch under them and tear up the yarn. I couldn't tell from the picture that this rug had loops on top, or I would have avoided it. We were intending to put this rug in the living room, but the rug will not withstand the dogs claws. I would not recommend this rug to people who have dogs with long claws. Otherwise, it is a beautiful rug, especially for the price."

"I was looking for a grass green rug and this is very satisfactory. The texture is a little industrial and the weave is a sort of tone-on-tone stripe that doesn't show in the picture, but it's deliciously thick and the color is just what I wanted."

"We needed runners on a wood floor. This rug works great--good quality, color good with blacks and grays. Does NOT show dirt or lint. Ends curled at first but are laying down after a few days. Also, the rug backing is good for real wood floors--we were advised not to use any type of rubber or latex backing. I was a little irritated I could only use one promo code at a time and was not told that prior to ordering. Also color selection is difficult because you need to order several small rugs, then pay the shipping to return the ones you don't want. Otherwise, good customer service during the process."
