"These pears were used as dinner name cards on my Thanksgiving table. I used thin gold ribbon to tie a personalized name card to the pear. What a hit! Everyone loved them. The pears gave my table an elegant look. This is the first year that my guests at my annual dinner wanted to take their name cards with them. That didn't happen though because I will use these for my dinners again and again!"

"I had been looking for a pear for a mantle decoration for quite a while. This was still a teeny bit smaller than I wanted but for the low low price I was very pleased. It's about 7 inches tall. It's going to be on a pedestal so it will be fine. It may be ceramic but has a very shiny metallic finish."

"This is a beautiful, well-made ornamental pear, which I ordered in silver. However, it turned out to be way too big for my intended usage. This is my fault, not HDC's...when they say seven inches, they MEAN seven inches. I guess I neglected to check the size first. The size makes it an even better buy for the price. I kept this rather than returning it because there will be a time when it will make a nice gift for someone else. Came well packaged and promptly, as is usual for HDC."
