"I purchased the Parsons chair for my home office desk. I wanted something other than a boring computer chair, and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. This chair is gorgeous and affordable! It goes great with my decor, and gives my desk and office a more upscale look. It's lightweight so it's easy to pull away from the desk to sit in it. I will even order these for a living room - placing them next to each other, and adding pillows."

Caution on the Material I Chose

"The quality of the chair is as expected - good - but the material I chose to cover it is not as it appeared online. I chose a material called "Ritz Camel," which I presumed would have a formal linen texture, as there was another option called "Ritz Linen" that had the same texture on screen. However, what I received is not formal at all! It is more like burlap - very casual chunky bumpy. Therefore, I am unable to use the chairs for their intended purpose - at my formal dining room table. I still love the style and quality of the chairs, but had I known, I would have chosen a different fabric with which to cover them. So, be advised, if you want a formal look, don't go for the "Ritz.""

"Received my new vanity chair sooner than expected, fully assembled and absolutely perfect. I love sitting at my vanity. It is very elegant and was worried it would not be white enough, but it is -see photo. I also purchased a long white coverslip with ties in case my girls get something on it I cannot spot clean out, but so far no problems. I am very pleased with my purchase."

"I shopped everywhere to find parsons chairs for my Dinning Room. These chairs were by far the best value for my dollar and they did not disappoint! "These chairs are a really great value for the money. I have priced them everywhere and these looked the best. They were packed really well in delivery. The best part of them is that they are very comfortbale too. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars accriaa the board was due to the color of the linen. I wish it could have been a little lighter."

"I ordered 2 chairs for my dining room. One chair arrived with a small defect in the craftsmanship. I called and told Home Decorators about the problem and they very quickly replaced the chair so that I would have a new one for an event at my house. "These chairs look perfect in my dining room. It took just a little over a month to receive them, but I ordered 8 and I had expected to wait sometime for them. They were worth the wait. "The chairs are very beautiful in appearance. However, it is not recommended for these chairs to be used daily, only on special occaisions. They are idea for just my son and I. Although there was a slight gauge in the front bottom of the material, it is undectable. The color of the chairs compliment the color scheme and theme of my living and dining room areas. I would definitely recommend them to a friend."

"I've purchased numerous pieces of furniture from Home Decorators in the past and the only problems I've had has been due to my lack of ability to "build" an item. I only had to screw the legs into the chair which made for very easy assembly this time. This chair was exactly as pictured and the color was the same as noted on the "swatch," which was my main concern. The seat is very comfortable and will be used in my dining room. The chairs were packed well and had absolutely no damage."

"I ordered 6 full skirted chairs for my dining room. The reason I ordered them was because the fabric looked just like the print of my family room sofa. I was so pleased with the chairs, the fabric matches identically, the chairs are well made and comfortable. It is a rare find to get fabric from 2 different companies that are a match. I am a rather picky decorator for items in my home, so this can be considered a real compliment to Home Decorators."
