"Quick, quick shipping. Arrived much earlier than I thought. Easy, easy assembly. Very functional and just the right size for a smaller space.
Finish on the top is not the quality of higher end pieces. It is not very smooth nor finished well. Looks good but not smooth to touch"

"After having spent countless hours driving to different furniture stores and searching the web, I decided on this desk. I was looking for a classical/old-world style that wouldn't cost a real sacrificial sum. I have to say that I have been fully satisfied. Some of the details you will not find posted anywhere are that it is made in China (though most things are these days), and is composed of composite wood. This latter fact was surprising to me, as it is extremely solid and truly has a real wood look. It is sturdy, has a nice finish, and has a unique look that I've not seen in any other writing desk. The three drawers are of moderate quality. I waited a couple weeks before writing this review to give a just judgment of the product. My expectations have been met and exceeded."

"This writing desk is exactly what I have been looking for and it looks much more expensive than what I paid. It doesn't have a keyboard tray like many other desks I have seen - it has a drawer instead. The assembly is a ten minute job and the finished product is very classy!"
