"There were some problems with the assembly: some pre-drilled holes were not lined up properly, the felt pads don't stick when covering the cam-bolts, and one of the magnets is not lined up properly with one of the door panels. Aside from that, it came together pretty easy and guests will never see the defects in assembly. It's perfect for the price.
The design is very simple and pretty. This is not our first item we've purchased from Home Decorators and it will certainly not be our last!"

"I was so happy with this TV stand I actually ordered a second one. Assembly took some time, but wasn't difficult. The swivel top is heavy duty."

"I love how this items looks in my bedroom - for the money a very nice looking piece of furniture, nice carved detail at the top. It took me a few hours to put together, be careful of screw bolts as if they are over tightened they can break. They should give you extra bolts/nuts/dowels and screws in case some break or get lost. The only issue I had is there were a few parts that were a little cracked, I glued them back on with wood glue and it looks fine. This isnt solid wood but for the price I thinks this looks great."

"We love the look and quality of the Dartmouth cabinet.
We actually have a large, flat screen mounted above the cabinet. We have a fabric runner on the top, and all media units on the shelf, iPads, laptop, etc. inside the glass doors. We had ordered a different unit initially, but when it was discontinued we took a chance on this one. It is sturdy, well made, and handsome.
My husband is extra clever- he said it was a moderate "pain" to assemble, but he always says that!"

"I shopped online and it was a beautifu piece and was accurately described and pictured. It was delivered quickly. This a heavy wood piece with beautiful color. I wanted a smaller TV stand which has been hard to find and this one was perfect. There a couple small scrathes but east to fix."

"The product arrived with dmage to the swivel top.
It mainly affected the appearance not a structural damage. The doors to the cabinet needed alot of adjusting to close properly. Other than that the

"I did not buy this for use as a TV stand. I bought this to store artisan throws in the living room during the summer. I ordered the glass doors so the throws could be seen. The piece fits my needs and look very nice BUT it is of poor quality. My mechanically competent friend found construction was very difficult, especially relating to the dowel pegs, due to unclear and confusing instructions. Two cam locks broke. (HD replaced them quickly.) But the worst thing was that in tightening the cam locks the pegs broke through the sides of the cabinet and made holes in the exterior! Tighten gently! I am covering two of the the three holes with decorative wood pieces but I could just cry."

"The hardware bent and broke very easily and the drilled holes were at odd angles, meaning things don't fit right when you screw the parts together, like the doors don't hang correctly and meet the magnet latch. Since this cabinet is going to have a heavy TV on top of it, we are concerned that, with the poor-quality hardware, it may not support the weight.
I realize it was not an expensive cabinet but I would rather pay a little more and have a product I can trust not to become a piece of junk."

"The swivel top is really dumb - it covers the entire top of the TV stand which means that it can not be used because it immediately bangs into the wall behind and the TV stand must be against the wall because the back is unfinished and very ugly."

"Once assembled this is a nice looking piece of furniture. The size is perfect for the space I'm using it in. However, if I'd known it was totally unassembled I would not have purchased it. It was relatively difficult to do and the pieces are very heavy."
