"This table is absolutely beautiful. It goes perfectly in my foyer with a 6ft round rug underneath and a simply floral arrangement on top. I looked for a long time for a 48 inch round that was not thousands of dollars and of good quality. I has hesitant to buy online, but took a chance and it paid off. Very sturdy table, great workmanship and fairly easy to assembly. I would highly recommend this table."

"but be aware if you are using as a dining table-which we are- the bottom makes it difficult to scoot chairs all the way in. We ended up angling, so it works a little better. Otherwise, it's great."

"I bought this table to use as my dining room table. This was my first purchase from HDC, and I'm a loyal customer now. Fantastic craftsmanship and intricate carved details on the table top and base. This table looks like I paid thousands for it, not hundreds. Another perk is that this table was incredibly simple to assemble. 12 screws and 10 minutes later, I'm ready to serve up an elegant dinner."

"The table is wonderful. I'm 66 years old and I put it together myself. I thought that I would need my husband to help me but I was able to do it even though it's extremely heavy. Simple instructions are included.

"Came in two boxes; three pieces that have to be put together. My husband did it in about 30 minutes or less. Looks great in the center of my large foyer. For the price, it looks a lot more expensive than it is."

Pre-drilled holes misaligned

"The pre-drilled holes in the base were misaligned so that the alignment of the table top, the carving on the pedestal and the legs were all out of line. With the help of a protractor, ruler and drill, I was able to move the holes and fix the problem. I don't know if this was an isolated incident or if every table that ships has this problem. If you aren't handy enough to make this kind of adjustment, then I'd steer clear of this item. Once I fixed the alignment, I love the table. It looks great in our foyer."

"The table looks great in the hallway. It is very heavy (you need two people to move it around). My only complaint is that the wood is soft and scratches easily. Looks great, just be careful!"

"This piece was purchased for my large entryway and works very well there. However, when we unpackaged it, the table top has a couple of partially pierced nail holes. There should have been better quality check. Since the nails didn't go through and the table is so heavy, we decided to keep it. Your return policy is more difficult than other online vendors. It took 2 people to assemble because it was so heavy. But, nailholes aside, it does look nice in the entry."
