"I mistakenly purchased slipcovers for this chair initially. I liked the fabric design and quality so much that I had to then buy the chairs! I am so glad I did! They are well made and even without the slipcovers, would look nice in my dining room. The chairs are comfortable and really look more expensive than they were. I am very pleased with my purchase."

Assembly is Mission Impossible

I am not sure how this customer assembled the chairs in 5 minutes. I ordered 8 chairs - received 6 so far. I have had trouble assembling every one of them. The drilled holes do not line up or are not drilled completely through. One set is so bad that I have given up and will return it. The others were only assembled by re-drilling the holes correctly. Even at this price, it seems a little ridiculous to have to do this.

"I really enjoy these chairs. I purchased two to go at the head of the table and they are beautiful. The only thing I would discount them on is that they are a lot darker in color than what was pictured in the catalog and on line. So easy to put together and great lines."

"I priced parson chairs at several big name stores and Home Decorator's were half the price! I bought two for extra seating during the holidays at the dining room table. They arrived a week after ordering, were easy for my husband to put together, they are good quality & beautiful! I'm going to order the slip covers soon to protect them.
