"Initially I purchased 4 chairs to augment seating for my Thanksgiving dinner. The chairs are very comfortable and sturdy. "Purchased this set for an Easter luncheon, and could not have been happier. The table and chairs are high quality and open VERY easily. I would recommend to anyone needing a small table either for permanent use or to have on hand for those times when you don't have enough seating."

"Could not believe the outstanding quality of these folding chairs. Instructions for unfolding the chairs were easy to follow (underneath chair seat). Unlike other reviews, have not had problems unfolding the chairs."

"The chairs (they come in pairs) are beautiful and look like real furniture, not folding chairs. The padding is thick enough to be comfortable to sit on. The only negative is that they are a little difficult to open up. But I've had similar brands and they are all somewhat difficult to unfold."

Good look, but poor mechanism

"The chairs look great and are stable & sturdy. However, the mechanism to open the chairs is VERY POOR. It is really difficult to open the chairs. Also, the seat folds to the outside of the chair, so if you have fabric it is exposed and more likely to gather dust than if the mechanism folded the seat toward the inside. The folding mechanism is very stiff (by design), so these chairs require muscling to open. The look and stability of the chairs is very good for a wooden folding chair."

"These chairs (I bought four) came completely assembled. They are a little difficult to open at first (stiff) but they will loosen with a few openings. They are very well put together, very attractive and very sturdy. They were a great buy and fold nicely to go into the closet or in my case in the corners next to the curio."
