"I have to admit I was disappointed. The vinyl is not stiff, it is soft and plyable. There are no instructions on assembly. You don't have to be a rocket scientist, but the lid was extremely difficult to get together. Once together they look nice, but because the vinyl is not very stiff, if you put anything heavy in them that is not square and fitted to the box (like books, and who buys these to put books in?), they are hard to handle. They have too much "give" in them to stay square, especially if the weight in the box is not evenly distributed. I would get these for a kid to use, but if you want more permanent storage, don't pick these (or any other vinyl box that has to be assembled). Pick from the heavier weight, already assembled produjcts."
