"The finish on this bench is great. The assembly with a friend to help is not difficult. Just make sure you have a little wood glue on hand. Perhaps the Florida heat dried up the glue.
Very happy with the look for the money spent and it was packaged well for shipping and delivered to my door!"

"This bench works for my space, sturdy & looks good. I wasn't sure about the green color but it actually looks good. I had some trouble with the dowels, some of them were very hard to fit in the holes. Only other issue I had was one of the screws would not tighten up completely so I could not use the hole cover. The bench did have a couple chipped places in the finish, but nothing that I can't live with. This was my first purchase & I will definitely check back."

"The bench looks good overall but when you sit on it and look a little closer, there are a few 4-5 inches long scratches. In addition, the bench is not well aligned so if you pull up the cover on the sitting area to store stuff inside, it will hit and scratch the arm-rest. Overall, it looks good from a far but the workmanship is a disappointing."

"Very sturdy, handy bench - Nice design and function. Assembled in 20 minutes. Use it in the garage hallway to sit and change shoes. Nice storage under the seat for small items."

"Loved the green bench, but box came retaped and with a huge hole. Opened it and most of the pieces were damaged. Customer service took it from there. I re-packed, and they gave me information on where to place it and when it would be picked up. I've ordered from Home Decorators several times and have always been pleased. I will order again."

"Nice bench. Looks great! My husband put this together easily but said the quality was a little off. Some of the wood dowels split the wood and some of the screw holes were already stripped. I put this bench in my daughter's room. I think it will do just fine for many years. I don't think it will live long enough to be an antique. Great for the sale price."

"I selected this bench for price, color, and entryway need. It fits all three perfectly. This is not the highest quality of furniture and you must be careful when you assemble it not to split the wood but it came out of the box without any nicks or paint flaws. I purchased the candlelight color which is ivory in color. I've had several compliments on the product and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone who would like a basic bench that is beautiful and sturdy."
