"I had two of these seat and back canvas directors chair items in my cart. I couldn't buy them right away because the shipping costs were higher than the actual item and that's just silly. "I bought 2 of these chairs for extra seating for guests. They are sturdy, but the footrest cannot be attached because the holes in the chair do not line up with the pegs on the footrest. Not a big deal, but... Also, the hinges are VERY stiff and are difficult to lock down into the open position. Hopefully these will loosen up a bit over time and use. Otherwise, they are nice quality for the price."

"I have two Tall directors chais on my balcony that had faded navy seat and backs.. as I was fixing up my balcony with new pillows I wanted fresh chair covers.. and they were beautiful but within a few months they look just like the ones I replaced.. Dont buy the navy unless its going to be out of the sun.. My other cushions and pillows are still beautiful.."

"I ordered the Directors Chair in white plus two sets of canvas backs and seats, one in black/white stripe, and one in orange. Strangely enough, that color combo is perfect for my home office.
The chair is well made and sturdy. Good workmanship and a very good value for casual, extra seating. Highly recommend."

"These are not generic replacement covers. The chair back is narrower (less fabric) and the seat itself is 1-1/2 smaller than the originals. The stitches per inch are fewer than the originals. The end is a 1/4 inch dowel rather than a 1/2 x 1/4 inch piece of wood. I had to add fabric to incorporate the original wood in order use them. Very disappointed in the quality."
