"Nice addition to a dark corner of our living room. I put an orange bulb in it and it looks marvelous. Nice packaging to keep it safe while in transit. I am not sure why some folks are "complaining" about the reeds not being so "willowy" when they get it. It must be tightly bound to ship safely, how else would they expect it to arrive?"

"Was pleasantly surprised to find that the actual lamp was very similar as pictured. The only point that needed attention was "fanning" of the reeds in order to create more visual appeal. Although this is a floor lamp, I found that by placing it on a table, actually raised the "focal point" to help balance the decor with the room's high ceilings. Genius.................."

"Overall, I do like it. Unusual! It does not illuminate as much as I expected because the reeds block the light. And the spread of the reeds is not as expansive as shown in the photo. It was tightly packed/wrapped and I think it would be impossible to get back in the package if you needed to return it."
