"Great looking piece(s) once I got the knack for assembly. Directions on which way each piece of wood should face is a little vague but otherwise it is very easy to assemble and is quite solid. I also wish the original product description gave the size of the cubbies; but that is a minor point."

"It is solid and fairly easy to put together. Wish the instructions were a little more explicit (a list of tools needed would have been helpful). Zipped it together in about an hour or so....the next one(s) will go faster."

The assembly instructions were clearer than most that I have used. Everything well numbered and explained.

"This is just what I was looking for to have extra storage in my closet. I paired it with the Manhattan Storage Drawers and could not be more pleased! Not only are they beautiful once completed but they are really efficient without taking up a large amount of space! (see picture attached!) I had never put together furniture before but this was a piece of cake! The instructions are easy to follow and each piece is numbered for your convenience. I can't wait until my closet is fully unpacked so I can show it off!"

"These shelves are an excellent choice for storage. They are heavy-sided and can be stacked. The molded top gives each piece a finished look so they can also be put side by side. Backs are a bit thin but does not hinder their usefulness."

"This closet system looks great! The molding around the top and bottom give it a built-in look. The compartments make it easy to keep organized.
The assembly was time-consuming but not too difficult. It is very sturdy but I wish it were made of solid wood."

"The shelving looks nice in our closet. The one problem is that the top piece and molding (in terms of its depth from back to front) do not align perfectly with the top pieces and molding of the drawers and cubbies. Otherwise it works well."

"instructions vague, but i've put stuff together without benefit of so much as a picture.
screws for the back panel are so fine, they would not grab, so i hammered them in!
i purchased this plus two other modules. trim on top of this module did not match others. waiting for Cust Service to get back to me with part number so i can replace."

"I needed space for my sweaters and these units looked ideal, so I bought this one and the one with the cubbies. I had some trouble with the cubby unit (separate review), but this one was easy. (Although both had the same problem that the screws for attaching the back were hard to use, so I ended up nailing the backs on instead.)
The only caution is that the two finished units were not precisely the same dimensions - this one was about a half inch deeper than the cubby unit, so when I placed them side by side, flush against the wall, the fronts did not align. I ended up aligning the fronts and leaving a gap behind the cubby unit."

"I share a closet with my husband and space is limited. I purchased the Manhattan closet open storage shelves, modular cubbies and pole kit. I was able to put the entire system together by myself, but it took much patience. The directions were easy to understand. I purchased the cherry colored organizer. It looks great, and we are able to store much more in our closet than we could before! I am very pleased!"
