"I bought this server to use it as a desk for my son's room and to combine it with Montana rustic bed set from VCF. It has a simple design. It is made of hardwood! The wood top is not soft. I was concerned because it could be scratch prone, like the wood veneers. But I tried to scratch it with my nail in a corner and it did not scratch. The grain of the wood is visible and very appealing. In all very nice. The stain was evenly and correctly applied. The quality is good and the price (115) was great. My husband set it up within one hour and he is not the type that does this very often."
