"We looked, and looked, and looked at vanities and is it me or are the prices just crazy?! We saw this one early on but hesitated because the description said it was wood veneer...so far can't figure out what part has veneer, looks like solid wood to me. The vanity top was described by someone as being ugly, and I'll grant you that it's no marble, but it's not pretending to be and we thought it was very pretty.
We were lucky ours arrived with no damage, but must have been sheer luck because the package was really banged up.
We have yet to install it so I will update this review when we do. However, I'm not anticipating any problems as it appears to be four legs, two shelves and a top. How hard can it be right?"

"Ordered this vanity on 3/19/11. After being told several times (I had to contact HDCC myself after the ship date of 6/9 came and went with no notification) that it was on back order, it finally arrived on 7/1/11.
The color definitely does not look as I had expected it to. From the photos on the website I thought it looked more like the ones from a high end retailer that uses the description "weathered oak".
The vanity top is chipped in every corner (one very badly). It is cultured, not real marble. It also has hideous flecks of sparkling material in it.

"I had searched for weeks and weeks for the perfect vanity. I was constantly running into over-priced, poor quality options. I finally came across this beautiful piece. The price was much lower than other vanities and the quality is wonderful. I am so happy with my purchase!!!!"

"I love the look of this vanity. We are adding a master bed and bath to our home and this look will fit in perfectly. I am going to order another vanity, the mirrors and the towel etegere to complete the look. The quality is terrific. Thank you for a great design and product."
