LOOKS NICE
Date:March 21, 2013
"Easy to assemble however not sturdy so I used wood glue to make cabinet sturdy. Wood glue worked like a dream. Cabinet appearance is very nice. Rated this as fair due to the fact wood was necessary"

Great piece of furniture
Date:February 8, 2013
"This is the best hamper I have ever bought. It was easy to put together and the outcome was beautiful. We bought it to place in our closet and it looks great there.. It helps make the closet look very attractive. I am considering getting a second one. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends."

"Very satisfied. Hampers look very nice and matched our decor very well. Only con, sometimes the screws don't get tight. The screws are sometimes going into a man made material instead of wood. In that case I just add a little glue to the threads on the screws."

Good, BUT
Date:January 31, 2013
"This is a 2 person assemble, make no mistake. It makes a nice statement for a hamper, though. It is much taller (thankfully) than most hampers that are available, and so looks so much more substantial against a wall."

very disappointing
Date:January 31, 2013
"Although it looks nice, the light oak is much darker than "light". It actually matches my kids espresso colored furniture. Assembly was ridiculous. Took a long time, manufacturer did not do any extra work to help out the consumer, that is for sure and very disappointing to have some of the wood split. Had it not taken forever to put together, I would be sending this cheap thing back.
And i agree with others, the hamper basket fits one days of clothes for kids. Not size friendly.

"I am very happy with this piece overall. The actual laundry bin is a little smaller than it appears but its big enough for a week's worth of laundry for two people and we love the extra storage space provided by the drawer. Assembly took about three hours since there are a lot of parts. I found it interesting that there were so many different types of screws...thought it would be more efficient to use the same type whenever possible. Speaking of hardware, it was not the best quality. The screws stripped easily and the cam locks disintegrated when any pressure at all was applied. Luckily, two extra cam locks are provided...."

Nicest Hamper of all on-line
Date:December 28, 2012
"This Artisan Tilt-out Hamper looks great in the bedroom, and the tilt-out feature allows placing things on top like car keys, etc. without having to remove them to use the hamper. So now there is no (good) reason to just throw clothes on the floor next to the hamper. I actually enjoyed putting it together - very satisfying, even though it took several hours. The directions were excellent, though; be careful with part number five to make sure you put it on facing the correct direction. Waiting until the hamper is fully assembled will cost you 15 minutes pulling one end of it off and turning it around."

Very Poor Quality
Date:December 16, 2012
"I've been searching for a tilt-out hamper and liked the way this one looked. It is complicated to assemble and the materials it is constructed from are very poor quality. The press board literally crumbled durning assembly. I now have to go through the hassle of taking apart what we built and returning it. Do not purchase this product!"

Strong piece of furniture
Date:November 5, 2012
"I purchased this hamper for a television stand in my spare bedroom so it will serve a dual purpose. The hamper is quite sturdy and well-made. It took a couple hours to put together and some of the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place and so I needed to redrill but it all worked out and am enjoying the hamper."

Does not look like a hamper
Date:August 8, 2012
"I was looking for a hamper that looked more like a piece of furniture and this piece fit the bill. It was time consuming to put togther, (lots of pieces but all well marked), pretty solid when completed. The hamper is not large but holds enough laundry for about a weeks worth of clothes for 2 retired people, which is what I was looking for. I do think it was alittle overpriced for all the work it took to put together but overall I am satisfied."

Just what I was looking for!
Date:January 30, 2012
"I wanted a hamper that actually looks like a piece of furniture, and I found it. It took several hours to put together, but it was worth it. Packaging was very secure, and all the parts were included. As noted in several reviews, it doesn't hold a ton of laundry, but I just use it as a supplemental hamper. It looks great!"

Terrible decision
Date:January 18, 2012
"This purchase was a terrible decision. The piece itself was difficult to assemble but we didn't get far into it because the parts designed for "easy assembly" broke making it impossible to assemble it. This was the most frustrating, aggravating, disappointing exercise ever! I called Home Decorators and they were terrific about the return... that was the best part of the whole scenario."

"This is a great piece of furniture. It's very well made and looks much more expensive than it really is. It looks great in my dining area -- no one would ever know it's a hamper! It was a bit of a headache to put together. Not too hard to figure out, but a lot of pieces and took roughly 2 hours. The bin inside isn't huge, but is about the size of one and a half loads of laundry, which is good for me so that I don't let the laundry get out of control :)"

"Working Drawer for cell phones, etc. "Hamper Bin" part will not hold a lot of weight, but Husband's briefcase fits nicely. Holds Husband's clutter out of site -- everything in it's place. Nice staging area for quick morning exits to work. No complaints."
