"When I saw it needed assembly, I just assumed it was attaching the door and drawers to this. Instead, it took me two hours. The labels and pieces could be in better order, the artist sketch for directions could apply to any piece of furniture, and I would have rather spent the same price on an already assembled cabinet."

"Glass" is mirror. I wanted a mirror and was going to replace the the "glass" from the title so it was not an issue for me. But if you think you're getting clear glass, be forewarned."

"The directions are poor and confusing. The glue was solid, we used wood glue BIG mistake, we didn't get the directions right and when we tried to pull it apart, the wood broke, I would not recommend this at all."

"as usual, good quality for the price, I had hesitated to buy this product for quite some time as it is listed as a glass door or wood door, I needed a mirrored door, so when a previous reviewer mentioned that it was indeed a mirrored door, that knowledge then prompted me to buy it, so I wish that the listing said mirror or wood, rather than glass or wood, I would have bought much sooner had I known. So, I am happy with it, it is just as in the photo and was not too hard to assemble. It is good quality for the price."

"Very solid wall cabinet -rich color, pretty easy to put together. The directions were super easy to understand. It's heavy - make sure you have studs to attach it to. I also got the Artisan Mirror and Artisan Bath Vanity (33") - purchased during a free shipping promotion. They look even better than I was hoping for!"

Is Dark Oak Really Dark Oak?

"The Artisan Glass Door Wall Cabinet was the fourth piece in a series, all for the same bathroom, that I had purchased. First came the vanity with Granite Top, then a cabinet with solid wood doors, then a cabinet with clear glass doors, and finally, the cabinet with a mirror set into the door, a medicine cabinet to go over the vanity. (This is all going into a house built in 1892, so the period is quite right.) Even though each piece was sold as "Dark Oak," the first three come close to matching in color, while this last piece is considerably darker. Much darker. I'll still use it, but it's waaaaay darker! Has the company changed it's Dark Oak color? Too late to exchange it now. A friend assembled it without knowing about the other pieces, it's glued together, and I put it on the wall this morning. The difference is obvious, but the cabinet still is a thing of beauty. Maybe I'll be the only one to notice. . ."

"I have a small bathroom and looked for stylish and sturdy pieces for my country home. I ordered the Artisan Collection's 6-drawer vanity; Wall Cabinet with Glass Door (a mirror); Single Storage Cabinet; Hamper; and Spacesaver. This wall cabinet is better than I had hoped. It is sturdy and nice looking. The bonus is that the "glass" door is actually a mirror. I was planning to change glass when it arrived but was pleased to find it is a mirror. Easy to assemble and pieces match pre-drilled holes. It is heavy enough that you would definitely want to anchor to wall studs when hanging."
