Pretty and Soft, But Colors Not as Expected

"The rug is soft and cushy on the feet, feels well made, but I was quite disappointed in the color. We ordered the "mocha" color which appears on screen to have dark, almost navy, blues fading into brown. But the blues are actually teal... very pretty, but not at all what it looked like on my computer, i-pad, phone etc. Basically every device I own made it look like dark blue which would have been perfect for our living room. Now I'm stuck with a very large teal rug that smelled and off-gassed in my home for the last 2 weeks because to return it would cost quite a bit. Lesson learned - don't buy large rugs online. Also, for the price you could find a wool rug that wouldn't emit petroleum off gassing. So to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. It's pretty and soft, but smelly and not what was expected."

"This is my second purchase of this rug. I love the 8x10 I received last year so have purchased 2 smaller ones recently. Beautiful browns, mocha, beiges and blues. Nice and thick, wears well, and everyone who comes over comments on it. The blue is a little more teal but matches with other blues well."

"We purchased two of these rugs and have had them for several months now. The colors are beautfiul and the texture differences between the leaves and the background really give the rug a special appearance. In terms of durability, one of the two rugs sees heavy traffic an the other is rarely walked on. They both still look exactly the same after months of use."

"I use this rug in the tiled entry of my condo. It's a very small area, so wanted something that fit the dimensions well. Colors are beautiful and are as pictured on the website, and easily hide any dirt tracked in by my dogs. An added bonus is that the fabric is a lot softer than expected. Nice simple rug with attractive neutral colors."

"I bought this rug to place in an irregular spot in our front vestibule. I cut it with a strong pair of scizzors to make it fit on the edges. It looks great! It looks exactly like it was pictured on the website. I would recommend it to anyone. It doesn't show the dirt and it is a great improvement over the two small oriental rugs that I had there before."

"According to other reader reviews, the blue tones in this rug are actually more of an aqua to blue/ green. I was counting on those reviews when I placed my order, because those were the exact shades I needed.
This rug is beautiful in our family room; the colors match the decor perfectly (and they are more in the blue/green family than blue), and I love the textures. A great buy for the price!"

"We have the 20"x30" rug. It is beautiful, but not what I expected for three reasons.
First, the color is NOT BLUE! I could not put this rug in the room I had purchased it for because it does not match at all to the blue in the picture. I elected to keep it because of the quality, but I am disappointed about the color representation in the picture. I know it's not just my computer because others are saying the same. The real colors are browns and teals.
To this end, I included a photo of our 20"x30" rug. To be fair to home decorators, I don't think they are misleading us - as you can see from my picture, it still looks blue! I photographed it in sunlight, incandescent, and fluorescent light, and still it looks way more blue than it truly is. Weird.
Second, the rug is slightly misshapen. I plan to stretch it and work a bit with it. It is thickly woven, which may be why it is a little off.
Third, the pattern of the leaves is NOT as pictured for the smallest rug. I was expecting this full leaf pattern as shown, and what we have instead are lots of very large leaves, probably because they use the same leaf embroidery size across the different rug sizes. Again, take a look at the picture I uploaded.
Overall, the rug is nice, but I like to see what I am getting before being surprised by what I unwrap. This is why I gave it a lower rating."

"Color in picture shows blue and really they are shades of green. Description should tell the colors are shades of green and brown and not just say "neutral tones". Checked the colors on several different computers and monitors and all showed blue."

"this rug is gorgeous. The leaves have a shallow tight loop construction and they are about an 1/8" embedded into the tuft of the surrounding rug. The light colored leaves are actually a very light grey. the browns are true to color, but the blues are actually a deeper torquise with a light grey (darker than the grey leaves) starting the blue sequence. Below is a picture with a pair of medium colored blue jeans on the blues."

"I thought these rugs would go well in my office with the gradient colors in neutrals and blues. However, when they arrived the blues were actually very 'aqua' and did not match at all. I had to return them. They did not look at all like the picture."

"This small area rug looks very good in our contemporary bedroom. Quality is very nice. It does need a slip resistant pad underneath, which will be my next purchase."
