"from afar it looks bright, cheery, colorful. i like the way it reminds me of wild mountain flowers. However, When you get up close to it, it's plastic green branches are shiny with lacquer and the leaves are obviously fabric. So it's pretty clear they are very fake and kind of cheap looking. The first one I ordered was broken, the second one I ordered was also broken on the bottom but hard to tell so I just kept it... The water in the glass isn't as clear as it looks in the photo, it's definitely yellow/brown but looks like lake water, which was fine with me because it added to the wild flower look. The exchanges and everything were very easy as customer support was nice and fast."

"I am surprised to read the disappointed reviews .. I love love love this pretty floral vase and I cannot tell you how many friends have commented on how real it looks. I love having it around especially since I don't have a green thumb."

"That pretty much sums it up. I bought this because I thought it was a reasonable price for a splash of color but didn't consider that I would be ashamed to have it seen.

"This is a lovely little bouquet, very casual looking in the jar for a vase. The flowers are fabric and delicate, but some [but not all] of the greenery is stiff plastic and unnatural looking. It's a little bit pricey for plastic. Overall, though, it has a nice fresh appeal if not observed too closely."

"this is nowhere near the quality I expect from HDC. I didn't even take it out of the box. It's going back. I don't usually review purchases, but I have to vent. This was a real disappointment."
