Amazing Fixture !!
Date:April 12, 2013
"This fixture is amazingly beautiful! New fixture cost a lot, this one was not very expensive. Knowing this we "assumed" that it would look so good. Colors are very vibrant, craftsmanship, very good. We had no issues assembling product, but it seems we have become " unofficial" experts w/ our renovations lately. If you love either the period its from or geometric you'll love it!!"

Excellent Lamps Great Style
Date:January 16, 2013
"I purchased one of these lamps originally for the bedroom since it was close in style to the one I had already but once I received it I immediately purchased a second one as I really loved the look and style.
I would say that this is a very well built lamp, very solid heavy and feels like it was made of cast iron with its heft.
The colors are vibrant and the shade looks like Glass. I really like the look of these and now with a matched pair I love them more. If i could have had them with Glass I would have made this a 5 star all the way.
If there was any one drawback it is that with standard incandescent bulbs in it, they can get pretty warm and are pretty close to shade. Although they have not melted and they are some form of acrylic they did get pretty hot and I would not feel comfortable leaving it on with anything over 40 watt bulbs.
However there are two bulbs and that worked fine. I just changed mine to CFL and now they are no longer an issue and it works wonderful."

"I unpacked and assembled this in less than 10 minutes. It's solid. It's beautiful. It's real glass. As other reviews said, the quality, compared to the incredible sale price, just astounding. And with two bulbs on, it offers great light. The negative reviews worried me but I'm glad I ignored them."

Broken and in Need of Refurbishment... BRAND NEW
Date:September 3, 2012
"I should start out by saying that I do love the colors and design of the shade on this lamp. That was the main reason I ordered 2 for my husband: he loves mission style faux glass. The first came the day before the second, and when I opened it, the base was painted the most hideous, cheap, tacky brown I have ever seen. No attempt to fake a petina or make it look like metal: just flat, matte brown. (Not to mention it is a floral Tiffany base for a Mission style shade, which looks odd, but I had already noticed that before ordering.) Luckily I whipped out some paint and quickly made it look wrought iron (easier than trying to return it). I knew the second one would be a problem, but when it came in the mail, it was an even bigger mess. It looked like the bottom of the base had been broken off the neck and then super-glued back on: and those two parts were two different color browns! All I can say is that if you don't like cheap-looking bases, don't buy this lamp. Its only saving grace is the shade. I plan to order some actual matching Mission style metal bases online when I find the right ones. (And btw: if you do distinguish between Tiffany and Mission, you will see that this designer uses the same exact mold for the base of all of the lamps. I am an industrial designer, so I noticed this right away.) In the end, with my repairs, the lamps look nice. Too bad I had to refurbish 2 brand new purchases."

Definitely not glass
Date:March 30, 2012
"The description claims the lamp is "Handcrafted of richly colored stained glass." It is definitely not made of glass (it's plastic), and I doubt there is anything handcrafted about it. The lamp looks pretty nice from across the room, but if you look at it closely, you can tell it is plastic. I bought this at the outlet price, so I'm not too upset (I would be if I paid full price, though)."
