"Very cute and useful little desk. However, it arrived with several scratches and dings. Tried to fill them with a stain pen, but it wouldn't take (which made me think that the scratches and dings happened before the product was varnished???) Managed to fill them decently with a brown sharpie, but pretty disappointing since this was a moderately priced item. Also, the front piece of the pull out shelf had fallen off in transit. Since it had been attached with glue and a nail gun, I had to re-glue it and bang it in place with a mallet. Now I'm a little nervous to pull it out using the knobs since I know it already came off once. Otherwise, nice looking item and all you have to assemble is the legs which is pretty easy."
