"I bought this because it is wider than the average shoe organizer and I wanted to use plastic shoe boxes in it for storage. The width is great but each slot is slightly shorter than average so although the shoe boxes fit width-wise they are a bit snug height-wise. Also, the floor of each slot is just soft cloth (not covered cardboard) so it could get difficult, with use, to get shoes in and out. It looks great, nice fabric."
