"This product was exactly what I expected: a great piece of furniture. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I put almost the whole thing together myself. (Hubby helped me at a couple points.) I don't think anyone could be disappointed by it."

"The overall look of this piece is nice. Very disappointed with the amount of scratches. Pretty much from top to bottom. We filled them in with a black pen but shouldn't have had to with a new piece of furniture."

"I am happy with the appearance, but the assembly made this project a nightmare. The center shelf that holds the two longer sides together would not fit. We were up all night trying all different angles, and we finally resorted to taking a utility knife and chiseling off a corner of wood to make it work. I can only imagine this shelf was cut too long. The cam locks are strained on this side, but I think the bookcase will be a good addition to my kitchen."

"The bookcase is very pretty and the wood detailing is very nice. The piece fits in with my more expensive decor. That said, I do think it was too expensive for having to assemble. I purchased the green accent and the green is much more bright green then has shown in the pictures. It is not a soft or sage color.
It came in 2 boxes and I was able to assemble it myself, however had to change some of the direction procedures to allow for one person to assemble - rather easy and straight forward."

"I purchased this in black for my very small office and it really helped me with my storage issue. I put a printer on the bottom shelf. If you are handy you can add a cutout to the back panel to run cable. I'm thinking of adding a light inside on the top. The distressing did not look authentic so I just filled in the gouges with black sharpie marker. Don't expect Ethan Allen quality but it's perfectly sufficient and quite charming."

"My husband and I ordered this bookcase in August, 2012 and did not receive it until November, 2012. It was not worth the wait. The back panel is not the correct size and does not fit on the back of the shelf properly. We have it pushed against a wall so that no one can see the terrible craftmanship. We have had issue on top of issue with this company - not just with this shelf but with other products. The people who work in customer service are very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the fact that the products are not good quality."

"I purchased this charming open bookcase as a display for cherished ceramics and majolica in the breakfast nook of our newly built home. It was the first piece in the Provence collection we have purchased and my husband had it together in 45 minutes. I was a bit surprised at how bright the green interior is because on my monitor it appears more grey. However, this blue/green interior is true country french style and we love it. We promptly ordered the double case with doors as well. Fits neatly into a corner although it is not built specifically for corner use. Excellent quality and construction, solid poplar wood."

"We received our bookcase yesterday in the blue and chestnut. It looks stunning in the home office we created using one of our bedrooms. The color is very true to the color shown online which is a teal blue. I am anxiously awaiting the matching writing desk that I ordered. Very becoming!!"
