"I have been searching for a coffee table to match my antique sofa without costing a fortune. This table works well with it, it is solidly built and a great value. However, it does have some detailing on the top which is not clear in the pictures online."

"The table is very attractive and well made. It is well worth the money. I usually prefer seeing furniture before I purchase it, however I wanted a table to go with 2 very expensive end tables that I have. This table compliments the 2 tables I have beautifully. Many people have think it is a set. I agree with all of the positive reviews and I am glad I made this purchase."

"We LOVE it!!! excellent value for the money!!! Beautiful! The only thing against it is that it has grooves on top and that destroy the look! I wanted it smooth. Also the grooves collect dust!!!"

"As a designer, it is important that a piece of furniture not only be sturdy, heavy, and functional, but stylish and beautiful as well. Pieces purchased from the Provence Collection, all in Chestnut finish, include Writing Desk, Double Bookcases, Coffee Table and End Tables. All pieces were well packaged, easy to assemble, and are nice and heavy. Legs are solid wood, tabletops or large parts of furniture are MDF with wood veneer, which is good, as it provides weight and prevents warping that large solid wood parts could cause. Also, if you are looking for French Country furniture, there really is not much to choose from if you are tight on budget. I searched for months and found some great furniture but at prices that were not within my budget. This collection gives you a distinct French Country feel…elegant but not fussy…for a great price. If possible, wait to purchase when you can get free shipping…as with many products on this site, the shipping cost can hurt a lot. The only caveat is how to discard the shipping boxes. The boxes are large and have LOTS of Styrofoam packing, but if you have an accommodating trash service, this won’t be a problem. Highly recommend!"

"I needed a stylish coffee table but had already spent so much on remodeling that I didn't want to put out big bucks for yet another piece of expensive furniture. I went to every furniture store in our small town but could not find the style or color that I was looking for. At that same time I received Home Decorators email advertisement, and scoured through the coffee tables. WOW! I found just the style I wanted with Queen Anne legs and all, and the color is really beautiful. The photo didn't show the top, but I took a chance. It looks like planks, but delicately carved and moderately distressed. The table is very plain and simple, but enough style that you might think it costs way more than it did. I am very pleased, and that is not easy coming from a woman who is extremely fussy about her home decor. I went for the "look" and I got it. I think taking a chance was worth it and won't hesitate to purchase furniture in the future from Home Decorators."

"This table is well worth the money. Was delivered quickly and in great condition. The assembly took about 15 minutes. I also bought the matching end table. These tables are gorgeous. They are very sturdy and are better than the ones that I replaced which I had purchased in a furniture store. You can't go wrong with this item!!! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!"

"As other reviewers pointed out, the table has a plank appearance on top. I purchased the cream version and the top is slightly lighter than it appears in the photos...kind of a brown sugar color. If you click on the "chestnut" color scheme, that gives you a better idea of the wood tone. It also has a distressed appearance, which doesn't look totally natural (a couple little cuts per side and a few stippling marks), but I'm fine with. I do love the antiquing glaze on the cream. This coffee table is also the perfect height for my tallish sofa and lovely in my French country home. Assembly is super easy. Simply screw on the legs and it's good to go. It was VERY well packaged in lots of styrofoam. I am quite pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend. My interior designer loves it, as well!"

"Love the table. My only issue is why did they need to distress it. It features a gash on each side of the body, not the top, which alarmed me when opening the box. Because of the black paint, they stand out. I wish I had some of the black paint to color them in. Otherwise it is wonderful."

"I was so pleased with the purchase of this coffee table! It is classy and funky at the same time - very stylish! The shipping was really fast, and the table is very heavy. There is more detailing on the top than the pictures show so be aware of that -more defined "slats". The turned legs are gorgeous! I am looking forward to purchasing the console table or "sofa" table in the future, and I am very pleased with the purchase:))!!"
