"The rug is beautiful and plush. I purchased the golden yellow and creme. It looks exactly the way it does in the photo. I love it. Took along time from placing the order until delivery, however it was worth every second of waiting. No odor, hasn't shed and it's just beautiful."

"I am very pleased with my purchase. I have not experienced any of the sandy stuff some of the reviewers commented on; but, I did notice the darker threads in the rug. Not too big of a deal for me, but it is somewhat noticeable because they appear to be a dirtly spot but they are not. I have this rug as a runner in my kitchen. I did scotch guard it so hopefully that will help repel any stains."

"I was looking for a rug with some deep yellow for large living room. I first ordered a less expensive one, which had good quality but the color was not as shown on website. I ordered the cornucopia color of this one. It's awesome. It does shed a little, and my kids haven't spilled anything on it yet, so I'm not sure about cleanability. But it looks great and feels soft and thick."

"I experienced a bit of the sandy stuff everyone's talking about, and I guess I haven't vacuumed to excess, but then again, I put this rug in a barely used room. The design is good enough, and it doesn't look cheap, but it doesn't look fabulous, either. It's just okay."

"This is a beautiful rug. The blue color is not too bright not too dark, a nice french blue color and a great contrast to the ivory. The design is very elegant and goes along well with our wooden furniture and floor. This is another hit from Martha Stewart. You really can't go wrong with her collection. I'm glad I bought this!"

"Though this rug is lovely, and looks amazing in the room, it sheds a ridiculous amount. The fibers are all over the place and contrast with the dark wood floors. I have only had the rug for a couple of weeks and have vacuumed it 3 times filling the cannister each time only to stop in frustration. I am just hoping that eventually it will stop shedding and throwing fibers everywhere. Then it will be perfect."

"I ordered this rug in the cream/chocolate. It is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted in the living room. However, it did shed A LOT for the first couple of months. I almost returned it due to the shedding (I was tired of having to vacuum the wood floors around it every day and my kids when they sat on it). But I am happy that I kept the rug because it doesn't shed anymore than normal now. I would say that it took a good 4 months before it stopped, but it was worth it because it is absolutely stunning in the room now."

"When I read all the reviews on this rug, I was sort of worried about the shedding and sand issues raised. But I have had none of that, other than the small amount of it that I expect from any new rug that is so thick. Even my nine year old grandaughters walked in and said it was cool!"

"On arrival rug shedding so much I vaccumed and filled the bag 4 times. Threads pulling out the back of the rug already. Afraid what it would look like in a year. Sand coming off the backing all over my hardwood floor and rug pad. Had to dispose of my rug pad. Rolled it up and sent it back to Home decorators. They were very good about the return and sent a bag to return it. Big hassle to send back such a big rug."
