"The first rug we bought had a defect, so we purchased a second one, in a different color and loved it! It does shed quite a bit for a couple of weeks, but it fades out. Looks great."

"I wish the rug would come in 9x12. The 8x11 was a little too small for my area. You really need to find a store and look at a sample in person (which is what I did before I ordered it) The picture online is somewhat misleading in that when you purchase the rug in a size bigger than 5x7, the design pattern in the rug is obviously enlarged and instead of being mostly gray/brown, a lot of the blue ends up in the rug"

"The pattern and color on this rug were striking. It has a great look.
However, that couldn't make up for the construction. It is a thin rug so it "waves".
I planned to use it in a foyer but it was so
bumpy and looked horrible that I had no choice but to return it."

"Color is definitely off from the picture. Expected some gray in the rug as the picture looks, but it is all shades brown. It still works in my home, but not true to the picture. Great value, although the rug is very thin and you will want to also purchase a rug pad. Overall a very pretty rug."

"This rug is beautiful, although a bit of warning, it resembles an indoor-outdoor rug, with very thin woven taupe chenille and raised (but still low pile) ivory and blue chenille in the design. If you're looking for a cozy thick pile rug, this isn't it, but if you want something for higher-traffic areas, this may well fit the bill."

"In terms of what I needed, this rug (bought 2) fit the bill. The colors and pattern are beautiful and fit beautifully in the room I am using them in. However, I don't think that they are a good value. They are VERY thin, and require a thick rug pad. They probably should cost about half of what is being asked. Even with that said, I'd buy them again as they are lovely rugs. As an aside, I required some customer service on this order which was EXEMPLARY, and is part of the reason that I continue to order from Home Decorators."

"Ordered the tangier rug in "spud" and it was full of much darker browns than I had anticipated. Also the contrast in colors was far more dramatic than depicted in the photo, making the rug far too busy for my dining room."

"Absolutely love this rug and it is a great purchase for the price! It looks better in person than online. The details and contrast in the pattern are beautiful, and the rug looks like it is more expensive than it really is. It is a little thin, but for our purposes (it is being used in our master bath) this was fine. You won't be disappointed in this rug."

"I looked long and hard for the right rug for our new living room. I wanted something modern and stylish, yet with a classic feel. I kept coming back to this rug (Tangier rug in Arrowroot color) and we ordered the one with the brown/gray background and gray/blue chenille. The chenille part is raised above the background, which give a nice dimension to the design. You will want a good rug pad, as the rug is not thick, but with the pad it works well (maybe not for cushy lounging, but it has a good, solid feel underfoot). It really brought our room together and every time I see it it makes me smile. Everyone who has seen it in person or in photos has immediately mentioned it. The pattern does have more blue in it than it appeared in the photo online, but I ended up loving it. Really pleased with this purchase."

"We ordered several rugs from HDC to cover parts of our newly installed hardwood floors. Because it had the Martha Stewart brand associated with it, this rug did not meet our expectations. Of all of the rugs we purchased, this was the thinnest. The pattern is also not as subtle as depicted on the web site. The light fibers are not stark white but they are quite a bright contrast to the other tones."
