"I had to modify the bracket in the recessed lighing so that I could install this. Then I couldn't get the excess cord around the cord holder very well. It still isn't flush against the ceiling. I don't know what else to do. It does provide nice light in my kitchen."

"I love the look of it and I feel I have more light where I need it .If you look at the diagram in the instructions you will see what the secret is to make it hang straight. It took me about 10 minutes to hang."

"I have recessed lights approx 3 1/4" diameter. The adapter for the light was slightly too large to fit all the way through the recessed lighting housing unit. Had to return it."

"I like the lamp very much but like most of the other folks that purchased it I had trouble with the ceiling plate still can't get it to stay in place . I suggest you put a strip of sticky tape to help with this problem . I'm off to the local hardware store to find something to make it work ."

"The glass shades look very little like the photo in adds. They were very opaque and looked like glass spattered with seagull droppings. Went to Lowes and purchased glass shades to replace the ones purchased through home decorators collection"

"Our kitchen is full of can lights and we wanted our counter between the nook area and kitchen to appear like an island. By added this pendant over this counter, it highlights it and makes appear like a mini island. Everyone is shocked that we installed it, because it looks like a traditional pendant that an electrician would have to install. This easy, small addition to our kitchen made a huge impact for a very low investment!"
