"This rug looks even better as a 10-foot runner, which is the size I bought in beige/sage, than it does in the square-ish photo. You get more medallions in the runner, making a welcoming pattern, soft underfoot, for my front hall. I found the border color not quite as green as pictured, but a subtle green does come out in daylight and goes taupe in artificial light. Best of all, it suits the style of my home."

What You See May Not Be What You Get

"I really liked the design and colors of the Cannes rug on-line (it must be new because it's not in the catalog): the black, ivory and coral were colors in our kitchen granite countertops, painted cabinets, and terazzo floor. However, the Cannes rug I received varies in design and color from the catalog picture - flower designs are frillier and lavendar (not as handsome as colors in on-line rug), border trim is a different design and is deep red rather than coral, the color of our terrazzo. I considered returning the rug, but hesitated because I may not be assured of getting exactly what is pictured with another rug. So, while I'm not excited about what I got, it's not too bad."
