"Even though I read the other reviews, the rug was chunkier and the loops were larger than I expected. Despite that, I absolutely love the look of this rug. It looks great and is soft on bare feet. It completely changed the look of my room and I have gotten tons of compliments on it. I would absolutely recommend this rug!"

"I love this rug - the texture is very attractive, and I love the color. As always with Home Decorators, it arrived promptly, well packed, and in good shape. It does need a non-slip base under it, however."

"Love the appearance of the rug but it is just too flimsy.I have had jute rugs that actually have some support but not this one.I had the rug down only two days and threads started pulling out.Not worth the high price."

"Ordered the global jute red rug. While it does not have the golden hues shown in the picture it is very close in red tone. The weave is very loose and rug will require a pad that prevents slipping and bunching. It looks wonderful on the barn red floor next to the rustic fireplace."

Will be returning this rug

I am sorry to say that after three months I will have to return this rug even tho it is a very heavy and will cost alot, I feel I must because the quality of this rug is so horrid. I am 68 and the only person walking on it and the color has worn off under the chair where I sit and the areas where you walk in and out. It also pulls as it is a running loose loop and there must be pulled back through constantly. Vacuuming is a nightmare even with the new vac on high.
Do not buy this rug.

While rug is a beautiful color, previous customer is correct. Color wears off, must be a sprayed on process. Where my feet land at my chair is already wearing to a lighter hue. Loops do catch easily. Rug is definately not for a family and should be used in an area that does not have a lot of traffic. Looks great but is not going to hold up in the long haul, because of the construction. A waste of jute material which is extremely long wearing.

"Very cool jute rug. I have placed it in my spare bedroom upon the hardwood floor. Looks great up against the daybed in there. The rug is very textured. The cat steps upon it gingerly...was quite funny to watch for the first time."

"Rug lost its color in one month, purchased it in red, faded to yellow Orange. Poor choice as we have a golden retriever...impossible to remove fur, cannot be vacummed due to continuous loop construction."

"We had a hard time finding a rug that would work in a sunroom. This is perfect, and great price too! The only issue is that my dog's nails got caught in a couple loops and pulled the loop out, but I don't think it is poor quality, just my bad luck."

"Very pretty. My only problems with the rug were my fault: not quite the right size and a little thicker than I expected (I'm using it in a dining area and flatter would have been better). But the color variation and texture are beautiful. Generally an A- since I bought the 8x8 square and it isn't quite square. I would recommend however since it is a natural product and expected imperfections."

"The loops in the rug are quite uneven and the texture is stiff. That said, the rug is rather appealing. I purchased the natural color and it is variegated, not solid colored."
