great lake rug
Date:April 10, 2013
"I got the 8x10 for our lake home. It feels soft to the feet, lays flat and is not bulky when moving chairs around. I like the colors. I inquired about the colors before I ordered and was told there was grey in the letters but it is more of a dark brown but still works with my grey floors. This rug gives a bit of an island/beach feel."

Sophisticated
Date:April 9, 2013
"Beyond impressed with this rug. Not a whimsical-iinspired, beach-theme, this rug is subtly sophisticated for a higher-end feel. Note: 8'sq rug shows much darker than other sizes, but is actually same as lighter examples. Background is a 2-tone oatmeal/buckskin (not a yellow cast). 3.5" lettering in muted variations: teal, 2 shades of Caribbean blue, chocolate, taupe, 2 shades of avocado and cream. Woven back is nicely finished. 70% polypropylene with 30% UV stabilized acryllic is a huge plus - acryllic will make it wear better and fade less. Rug is quite thick, not thin, cheap-looking flat type. This rug is suitable quality for a "Frongate" home. A rug purchased from Cottage & Bungalow for 3x the cost of this is wearing very poorly."

Outdoor Caribbean Rug
Date:February 11, 2013
"Arrived quickly; colors aren't as bright as featured in online picture and I was a little bummed that not all of the words are visibile as in the picture. If you want all of the words to appear and not cut off you will need to get one larger than 5x6. Lastly this rug is soft under foot and exceeded my expectations. I will be using this in a laundry room and it will be great in that application.
Overall, I would by this again but larger than the 5x6 I purchased."

2X3 size carpet looks nothing like photo
Date:May 25, 2012
"I'm sure the largest size is nice, but the small carpet does not even have half an island spelled out on it as the lettering is the same size on the large and small carpet, so the small carpet does not even portray that it is referring to caribbean islands unless really putting some thought to it. Only go for this in the larger sizes."

Trend Setting!
Date:April 5, 2012
"Love the rug ... we can't always be in the Caribbean so wanted to design our kitchen around this rug. The colors are a tad more muted than the photo but I like it better in person. Wyethe Blue ( B.M. paint color) is the hot color for 2012 so we are painting the dining walls a shade lighter, which matches the rug perfectly. It is also a high traffic area so I sprayed it with scotch guard to help protect it. We have a 110 pound dog and it doesn't show fur, etc. It vacuums well with no beater bar."

Misspelled words!!!!! Beware
Date:November 8, 2011
"After opening the rug I noticed that 2 words were misspelled on it! I looked in the book and saw that the two words misspelled on MY rug were correct but the catalog showed a different word mispelled! I called the company and they offered to send out a new one immediately but I figured the chances of getting a rug that was correctly spelled were slim to none! They did give me money back so I would make purchases (without words in the rugs) from Home Decorators again b.c they made good on the item."

Misspelled words!!!!! Beware
Date:October 31, 2011
"I received the 5x8 Caribbean Driftwood rug this weekend and as I rolled it out to inspect it I noticed that "Puerto Rico" was misspelled as "PUEBTO Rico"!!!! I couldn't believe it! I looked some more and noticed that "Virgin Islands" was ALSO spelled incorrectly as "VIROIN Islands". I promptly called the Home Decorators 800 number and they gave me the option of having another rug mailed out or taking money off. I opted to take the money off my bill as the rug was very expensive! Spelling mistakes are inexcusable however the company made good by me and I would buy items from them again."

Driftwood Rug
Posted March 7, 2012
This rug came off as a gray or taupe on three different computers, but it is beige and brown. We had to return ours because the colors were so dramatically different from the photo that it didn't match our dining room. FYI.
