"I purchased one Industrial Mansard Stool being a little leary of what the quality may be. After receiving it and assembly it was more than I had hoped for. The quality is exceptional, the wood seat is beautiful. I hurried and ordered 4 more before they would go out of stock. Great value for the price."

"Have been looking all over for stool like this for my office -- found one from another store which was similar but had a metal seat, and I wanted a wooden seat. Wanted 2 but ordered one to be sure size and quality were what I wanted. NOT
disappointed! Very sturdy, well made, seat is nicely finished and perfect stain color, wood grain still visible, edges smooth, turns easily, foot rail is
perfect height, stool height is perfect for my use and can be raised if needed for taller person or higher counter/desk. I love this stool! One of my best purchases ever! Great value for $. My catalog had free shipping which made it even better value. If you like this look/style, go for it!

"Love the stool. First one was hard to put together. Do not follow the directions. Put the small ring on bottem of stool before you put legs on or you will never get it on. Learned the hard way. After that was a piece of cake."

"Its a great look but its flaw presented assembly challenges. This great looking stool was a challenge to assemble despite the relative simplicity of the instructions and the low number of parts. The main hole was too small and did not accommodate the main screw. We enlarged the hole and ajusted the thread to make it work, but wonder how many customers have the workshop to do that.
Once assembled it looks perfect and works well too. ."

"I was a little nervous about whether I would be happy with the quality of these stools, but they look far more expensive than they are. They are also quite easy to assemble; I did both myself in very little time. I'm so happy with the look and quality of the stools that I also just ordered the Industrial Mansard double bookcase."

"The stool precisely what I wanted, with smooth rotation for adjusting seat height. The stool is very sturdy, in contrast with a review i read, I found the stool very sturdy once assembled. It is really important to loosely insert all of the screws, as stated in the assembly instructions. This is what allows for putting the large ring on and adjusting both large and small rings to get the legs properly anchored and make the stool sturdy."

"The rings were difficult to assemble, and made me question the quality / structure of the stools.
Wish the seat could go a little lower. Stools look good, but if closely inspected you see some flaws.
In general, it's a good product. I would be happy if the price was a little lower and more in line with the products value."

"The stool looks very nice and has the rustic look I wanted. However, the stool is very unstable when screwed upward. If the stool is in the lowest position, it wobbles only a little. The more you screw the stool upward, the more unstable it becomes. The wide seat makes it very comfortable. I have opted to return the stool for it's instability."

"I am really happy with these stools, and looking forward to getting the table to match! Considering I am not handy with tools, I didn't find it to be too difficult to assemble. However, one of the bolts did get stripped and won't go in completely. That was my only concern, but it isn't too noticeable. I highly recommend them!"

"This stool looks great, and the price is right. But the seat is not sturdy at any height other than at the very bottom. Shipping this back would be a pain, so I'll first see whether I can rig the screw thread to better hold the seat."
