"Great value for the money. This is a solid piece of furniture that adds an elegant accent to my family room, it works very well as a desk for my laptop. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The copy for the item does not include the info that the piece does have a drawer which is a nice feature."

"Disappointed with desk. I encountered 3 problems with this desk:
1- Hardware was missing, so I had to purchase more before assembling the desk.
2- The drawer is smaller than the opening leaving a "see through" space when the drawer is closed. This gives the desk a cheapened look.
3- The piece is not really a writing desk, but more of a small hall table. After placing my laptop on the desk, there is not much room for anything else."

"Our guest room did not have any where to set a PC or check email. This is the perfect addition. Does not take up much room and looks very expensive. Assembly was a breeze -- excellent instructions!!"

"The table was the look we were looking for to adorn the rest of our bedroom furniture. After arrival the desk was a perfect fit to size in the area where needed which was small. The design of the Morgan Writing Desk in wood-cherry is actually lighter with its black accented legs that show their claw-like sculpted feel and strong support of its classic top and simple drawer in front. A great buy, we are very satisfied."

"I was missing hardware, which always gripes me. Also, the top dimensions are somewhat misleading due to the scalloping in the front-there is only a tiny bit of surface that maxes the dimension-this was important as it doesn't fit my desk blotter. Also, the back isn't finished very well-so you better have it against a wall."

"I purchased this desk for a small space in my dining room. Most desks were too large but this desk fits the space perfectly. I wanted something that would look nice with my cherry wood dining set. This desk fits right in. When my husband saw it, he commented that he liked the desk because "it doesn't look cheap." It was also very easy to assemble since it's just a matter of attaching the legs so I was able to do it myself (I am not someone who assembles a lot of furniture). I am extremely happy with this desk. I am sitting at it now as I type this review!"

"I bought this desk as a replacement for a free-standing vanity for my new home, which we will be ready in November. In the new house, I will not be able to fit my massive old desk in our bedroom, so this piece will also function as a desk for my laptop also. My large desk will be in the office, but I like to check e mail first thing in the a.m.
This piece will serve both functions well. I took it out of the box to be sure it wasn't damaged. I was quite surprised by the quality of it. It is a very attractive piece and the only assembly is attaching the legs. I am very happy with my purchase and I think it has the appearance of a much more expensive piece of furniture. Don't hesitate to buy it."

"This a beautiful piece of furniture. The two tone finish is very nice and the construction is more than adequate. Assembly was extremely easy, but one of the back legs does not sit flush. It's value and appearance outweigh this small detail."
